New Rumors Hint at Spider-Man’s Suit Change and Multiversal Spider-Men in the MCU’s Future!

Spider-Man 4 was confirmed to be in development last year, but there aren’t many details yet. We do know that Tom Holland and Zendaya will return to their roles, and Destin Daniel Cretton will direct the movie.

Other than that, not much is known. However, even before Venom: The Last Dance came out, there were strong rumors that Venom and Knull would eventually join the MCU.

After the release of Venom 3, especially with the ending, it seems likely that Venom will join the MCU. Tom Hardy confirmed he’s done with the Venom trilogy, but he also said he’d be open to returning to the MCU, especially if it means fighting Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland.

In his latest Discord AMA, Alex Perez revealed that Sony and the MCU might be planning to make Spider-Man 4 a team-up between Venom and Spider-Man, like Deadpool & Wolverine, but with Sony characters instead of Fox characters.

This brings up many possibilities, including Tom Holland’s Spider-Man eventually wearing the Venom suit. One fan asked if Tom’s suit from Spider-Man: No Way Home would change in the next movie, and Perez gave an interesting answer. The suit won’t change, but Spider-Man is expected to get the symbiote suit in Doomsday.

He’ll still have his NWH final suit if that’s what you’re worried about. It is going to eventually become the symbiote suit though, most likely during Doomsday.

Perez also mentioned that he’s heard rumors about Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099 possibly appearing in the Multiverse Saga, but he pointed out that these are just ideas for now.

Mandrew149: Are there any heroes and villains you expect Spider-Man and Venom to come across in their battle against Knull and the symbiotes?

Alex Perez: I do like the idea of Willem Dafoe returning, but not as Norman, rather as the voice of the Goblin in Peter’s mind haunting/taunting him for what happened in No Way Home. But as I mentioned before, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker are expected to return. Speaking on Multiversal Spider-Men, I did want to mention a rumor that there were talks at one point about incorporating appearances from Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099 in the Multiverse Saga; but at the moment, it’s only ever been ideas being thrown around.

Take all of this with caution, as there are many rumors about different characters in the upcoming Spider-Man movie, and not all of them can be true.
