New Trailer For Ridley Scott’s ‘House of Gucci’ Featuring All-Star Cast Released
Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, Salma Hayek, Al Pacino. Saying this is a star-filled movie would be a huge understatement. Based on true events, Lady Gaga is starring as Patrizia Reggiani, a woman who hired a hitman to assassinate her ex-husband Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver), grandson of Guccio Gucci, founder of fashion house Gucci. How many times have I written ‘Gucci’ only in this one paragraph?
The story about Patrizia Reggiani was widely known during the mid and late ‘90s. After her husband was murdered, she was arrested for arranging the killing. In 1998, she was sentenced to 29 years in prison. She was released in 2016 after serving 18 years. Reggiani praised the casting of Lady Gaga, but she expressed annoyance that Gaga didn’t contact her to prepare for the role.
Directed by Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator) and produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, House of Gucci will be released this Thanksgiving. So, soon.
Synopsis:
The film is set in 1995 and depicts the events and aftermath of the murder of Maurizio Gucci, Italian businessman and head of the fashion house Gucci, by his ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani.
