‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 3 Trailer Moves Joanne and Noah In Together, and Bina Might Finally Approve
Few streaming romances have sparked as much conversation as Netflix’s ‘Nobody Wants This’. Over 2 seasons, Erin Foster’s rom-com has turned Kristen Bell’s agnostic podcaster Joanne and Adam Brody’s unconventional rabbi Noah into one of streaming’s most talked-about couples, with their chemistry and messy family dynamics making the show a genuine pop culture obsession.
Season 2 ended on an emotional high, with Joanne and Noah finally choosing each other after a season of will-they-won’t-they tension and family interference. Earlier this month, Netflix released first-look photos showing the couple mid-move-in and clearly still in their honeymoon phase.
Now fans have their first real look at the new season. On September 24, Netflix released the official trailer for ‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 3, confirming that Joanne and Noah are now living together ahead of the October 22 premiere.
The preview, which Netflix describes as the couple taking their relationship to the next level amid sibling drama, maternal meddling, and one giant leap of faith, leans into domestic bliss. In one moment, Noah carries a cardboard box up to the front door as Joanne looks on, while another shows the pair brushing their teeth side by side in their shared bathroom.
The biggest surprise may involve Noah’s famously tough mother. TVLine noted that Joanne appears at synagogue dressed like a rebbetzin, the Yiddish word for a rabbi’s wife, and the outfit was picked out by none other than Bina herself, played by Tovah Feldshuh.

The rest of the gang is going through some big changes too. Sasha and Esther, played by Timothy Simons and Jackie Tohn, are now separated, and a newly blond Sasha seems hesitant to start dating again. Meanwhile, Justine Lupe’s Morgan is set to take her career to the next level.
The creative team has been clear that this chapter is meant to feel different from the heavier relationship struggles of Season 2. “This season feels like Champagne,” co-showrunner Jenni Konner told Netflix Tudum, with Foster explaining that the writers would ask whether each storyline fit that description, dropping it if the answer was no.
The A.V. Club agreed that the trailer seems to deliver on that promise, noting that Joanne and Noah appear to be settling into a new normal. The outlet added that the story looks noticeably more stable, even if the couple still has hurdles to clear.
Season 3 brings some exciting additions. Andrew Rannells and Keyla Monterroso Mejia recur as Joanne’s conversion classmates, Sebastien and Amber, while Sarah Silverman plays their Intro to Judaism teacher, Rabbi Eden.

Rannells’ character gets one of the trailer’s standout moments, teasing Joanne about the widely known story of the hot rabbi who blew up his life for her. The guest cast also includes Avan Jogia, Poorna Jagannathan, Sadie Sandler, Stephanie Koenig, and Foster herself, who pops up in the trailer spilling a drink on Brody.
Returning favorites include Shiloh Bearman as Miriam, Sherry Cola as Ashley, Stephanie Faracy as Lynn, Michael Hitchcock as Henry, and Paul Ben-Victor as Ilan.
All 10 episodes of ‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 3 arrive on Netflix on Thursday, October 22, almost exactly 1 year after Season 2 debuted. With Joanne’s conversion journey, a shared home, and Bina possibly on her side, this season looks set to test what “happily ever after” really means for the couple.
