Overlord Volume 18: Release Date and Time, Preview, Spoilers, Leaks & More
An unlikely hit, Overlord has become one of the most talked-about works in the otaku community. Overlord first began as a novel series back in 2010 and has since expanded to include an ongoing light novel and manga series, as well as an anime, which has now entered its fourth season. There is also an OVA episode, an ONA series, and a two-part movie. In this article, we are going to focus on the Overlord light novel, as we are going to tell you all about the upcoming Volume 18 of the series, which is set to be the final one as far as the light novels are concerned.
Overlord Volume 18 release date
Light novel volumes usually don’t have a fixed release schedule and are released according to the author’s writing schedule. Sometimes, it’s once a year, sometimes it’s once every two years. As for Overlord Volume 18, the author has recently confirmed that it is going to be the last volume in the light novel series, but that we’re in for a long wait. At this moment, we don’t have a release date for this volume, but knowing the release schedule, it could be released in 2024 or 2025; an earlier release is not that likely, but who knows, eh?
The English edition of this same volume is going to be released at an as-of-yet undetermined time in the future; we’ll update the article as soon as we get a confirmation.
Overlord Volume 18 plot
As of this moment, the plot of Volume 18 is still unknown. It’s a long way before we actually see Volume 18, so at this moment, no one really knows what the plot is going to be about. We do know that it is going to be the final volume of the light novel series, so we assume that it is going to wrap up the story in one way or another.
As for the chapters, the volume will probably have three or four chapters, as is usual for a light novel. It is also, probably, going to have between 300 and 400 pages, which is usual for a light novel. We’re going to update this section as soon as we get an official chapter list. The plot is, of course, going to be a continuation of the plot from Volume17, although we don’t know in what way yet.
Overlord Volume 18 spoilers
Overlord Volume 18 doesn’t have a specified release date and it could be a while before it releases, as we have said on numerous occasions in this article. As for the spoilers, they usually appear around a week before the publication of a work, so it’s still too early for us to have any official or unofficial spoilers for Volume 18. We really don’t have any spoilers for you at this moment, but be sure to check out this article later, as we are going to update it once new information comes.
Where to read Overlord Volume 18?
The only place where you can read Overlord on a regular basis is Yen Press’s official site, which offers the latest volumes in English. Yen Press is the official American publisher of Overlord, which is why it offers the series regularly, but the chapters are published after the Japanese originals. A Yen Press subscription is a good thing because the chapters are updated regularly, but you also get access to a lot of other series as well.
