Eevee is a unique Pokémon in a lot of ways, but what really makes it special among all the other species is the fact that it can evolve into eight different Pokémon, based on certain conditions. These evolutions, or “Eeveelutions”, as they’re called by the fans, are present in the anime and the video games, although not all of them are in every game. Luckily for you, Pokémon Legends: Arceus has all these evolutions and we are going to tell you how to get every one of them.
The Eeveelutions in Pokémon Legends: Arceus are obtained in the same way as in previous generations. Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon are obtained by using the Water, Thunder, and Fire Stones respectively. Glaceon and Leafeon can be evolved either using the Ice or Leaf Stone respectively, or by finding an Icey or Moss Stone. Umbreon is evolved during the night with Max Friendship, and Espeon likewise, but during the day. Sylveon can be obtained with Max Friendship, while Eevee knows a Fairy-type move.
This article is going to function more as an in-game guide to the Pokémon Legends: Arceus game, or one of its Pokémon, to be precise. You’re going to find out how to evolve your Eevee into Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Umbreon, Espeon, Glaceon, Leafeon, and Sylveon in the Pokémon Legends: Arceus video game. We’re going to tell you what you need to do to get each of them in the newest Pokémon game.
How to get Eevee in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?
Eevee is a fairly rare Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, just like it was in all the other Pokémon games. Still, it can be found in the Obsidian Fieldlands by traveling to Horseshoe Plains and searching near the pond on the northern side. It is a timid Pokémon, so you’ll have to hide if you want to catch it. This Eevee also appears very rarely so you shouldn’t really hope of catching eight of them using this method.
If you want a better chance at catching an Eevee, though, you could also wait for a space-time distortion field and wait for Eevee to appear. During these events, Eevee are not much easier to catch, but they do appear more often and in larger numbers. This will allow you to catch the eight Eevee necessary to obtain every Eeveelution in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
The way Eevee evolves is the same for all Pokémon of a generation, but differs between generations. First generation evolutions evolve with an evolution stone, while second generation evolutions gain a high level of Affection (now Friendship). In the fourth generation, from the fourth to the seventh generation, a level-up at a certain location is required, while since the eighth generation, an evolution stone can also be used. The evolution of the sixth-generation Sylveon, on the other hand, is triggered by leveling up with a learned Fairy-type attack and a high level of Affection (Friendship).
How to get Flareon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?
Flareon is very rarely observed in the wild and has the same distribution spectrum as its first form, Eevee. Like Eevee, it is more commonly seen in urban environments, but it also prefers habitats close to volcanoes. Evolution has allowed it to adapt to particularly hot habitats and has allowed it to grow a fireproof coat.
This Pokémon’s body is like an incinerator, and its average body temperature is 700 to 800 °C. It creates a fire of 1 700 °C in a flame sac in the body. It feeds this with breathing air. However, its fiery breath only reaches temperatures of around 1000 °C. Flareon’s fluffy fur serves a special purpose: it releases heat into the air to keep his body from getting too hot.
It extends its fur collar to cool its body temperature when it is particularly glowing. Because of this fluffy coat, Flareon also has many admirers among collectors. If it has captured berries or Pokémon, it breathes fire until both are well done. Then it bites boldly.
Like in all the previous generations, Eevee evolves into Flareon when exposed to the Fire Stone in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
How to get Jolteon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?
Jolteon is very rarely seen in the wild and has the same range of distribution as its ancestor Eevee. Like Eevee, it is often seen in urban environments, but it also prefers open terrain such as meadows, fields or unwooded mountain slopes as a habitat. The development has made it statically charged and also an amazingly fast runner.
This Pokémon also drains ions from the atmosphere, converting them into bolts of 10,000V power. When it charges itself with electricity, every single hair on its body stands straight up. The negative charge of the ions in its fur is also the reason for the constant sparking noise. If its fur stands on end, that is a sign that it is about to fire a bolt from its mouth. In addition, due to the charge, lightning often strikes in its vicinity.
Jolteon’s cells also generate weak electricity. However, this is amplified by the static charge of its fur, so that it can also generate lightning strikes in this way. Its fur consists of razor-sharp hairs that act as electrically charged needles. He’s very nervous, so coaches have a hard time winning his affections. Jolteon’s mood also constantly fluctuates between anger and sadness. This also generates electricity. When disturbed, it uses electricity to fire small balls of its fur.
Like in all the previous generations, Eevee evolves into Jolten when exposed to the Thunder Stone in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
How to get Vaporeon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?
Vaporeon is very rarely seen in the wild and shares the same distribution spectrum as its previous form, Eevee and is more commonly seen in urban areas, but prefers clean, flowing water and its riparian habitats. During its development it grew fins and gills, so that it is perfectly adapted to life in the water through mutation.
This Pokémon can also manipulate water at will. The cellular structure of this coastal water-dwelling Pokémon is also similar to that of water molecules. Therefore, it optically merges with the water and thus becomes invisible in it. Vaporeon uses this ability both offensively when hunting and defensively to hide from predators.
For example, it secretly waits quietly for fish type Pokémon to catch as prey. When swimming, it uses its large tail fin to navigate, which is why seafarers used to mistake it for a mermaid because of the resemblance. If Vaporeon’s fins vibrate, it means that it will start raining in the next few hours.
Like in all the previous generations, Eevee evolves into Vaporeon when exposed to the Water Stone in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
How to get Espeon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?
Espeon is fiercely loyal to its trainer once it becomes attached to them. This loyalty goes so far that this Pokémon has evolved the ability of Prophecy to protect its trainers from harm. With its fine, short fur that feels like velvet, Espeon can use air movements to instantly recognize which attack its opponent is planning in combat or if the weather is about to change outside of combat.
This can be visually recognized by the fact that the tip of its two-part tail begins to tremble. When it uses Psychic powers, the orb on its forehead glows, from which it also fires Psychic attacks. If Espeon runs out of power, the color of the orb loses its shine. It is rarely found in the wild and appears more frequently in urban areas.
Like in the previous games, Espeon is obtained during the day when you manage to level up your Eevee with Max Friendship (earlier, it was Affection).
How to get Umbreon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?
Umbreon are rarely found in the wild and are more commonly found in urban areas under the care of humans. This Pokémon is generally nocturnal. It hides under cover of darkness, where it tenaciously lurks for prey. The rings on his body light up in different situations. This can be during its attack or while it is exposed to the moonlight (especially a full moon).
But even without the presence of moonlight, its rings glow faintly in the dark. If it finds itself in a dangerous situation, it ideally hides in the dark. If it cannot escape and feels threatened, it secretes toxic sweat from special skin pores to protect itself.
Like in the previous games, Umbreon is obtained during the night when you manage to level up your Eevee with Max Friendship (earlier, it was Affection).
How to get Leafeon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?
Leafeon is a medium-sized, four-legged, agile Pokémon. Most of its body is covered with beige fur, only the inside of the ears, feet and eyes are brown. Furthermore, the tail is mostly green, the same applies to the ears, a large quiff and individual, small strands of fur on the neck, chest and legs. In the iridescent form, it looks a bit darker overall.
The Grass-type Pokémon is perfectly camouflaged for life in the forest, which is due to its color as well as its prominent ears and tail that resemble leaves. Leafeon lives in lonely, dense forests that are crossed by clear streams. As it evolves, the Immature Pokémon’s cells take on a plant-like cellular structure. Therefore, on cloudless days, its body carries out photosynthesis, which means that Leafeon is constantly surrounded by clean air.
Young Leafeon give off a scent of fresh grass, while older specimens smell of fall leaves. Especially in Galar, this special smell is so popular that it is sold as a perfume. Leafeon displays a very calm, peaceful disposition and will only fight when forced to do so.
There are two ways of obtaining Leafeon. The quickest and most practical way is to use a Leaf Stone on Eevee, which will automatically evolve it into Leafeon. If you don’t have a Leaf Stone with you, you need to find the Moss Stone in the Obsidian Fieldlands and then level up your Eevee while in its vicinity.
How to get Glaceon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?
Glaceon is a medium-sized, four-legged, and slim-built Pokémon. Most of its fur is colored light blue. His head decoration, the inside of the ears, the nose, the patterns on the back, the feet and the back part of the tail are a darker blue. In the iridescent form, it is lighter in color overall.
Long, conspicuous ears grow on the round, rather small head as well as a three-part decorative structure on the forehead, which hangs long down the sides of its head. A pattern of two diamonds can be seen on the back. The long tail gets a little wider towards the end. Wild specimens of Glaceon are very rare. They live in cold regions because they are perfectly adapted to them.
Glaceon can drop its body temperature down to -60°C, allowing it to freeze the air around it. This allows it to create diamond dust and powder snow from humidity in a matter of seconds, with which it attacks its prey. The beautiful spectacle also makes it a popular guest in ski resorts. When attacked, it crystallizes its fur into sharp icicles and uses them as needle-like projectiles.
There are two ways of obtaining Glaceon. The quickest and most practical way is to use an Ice Stone on Eevee, which will automatically evolve it into Glaceon. If you don’t have an Ice Stone with you, you need to find the Icey Stone in the Alabaster Icelands and then level up your Eevee while in its vicinity.
How to get Sylveon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus?
Sylveon is a quadruped whose body is mostly covered with pale, cream-colored fur. Its feet, ears and tail are pink. Its left ear and neck are adorned with pink and cream-colored bows on which antennae are attached. These antennae are also cream and pink in color, but have dark blue and light blue at the ends. It has short, slender legs and small paws with three visible toes on each foot.
His eyes are blue with white pupils. When its mouth is open, two sharp teeth are revealed in its upper jaw. Its furry pink tail curves slightly in a moon shape. Sylveon are rarely found in the wild and are more commonly found in urban areas under the care of humans.
In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Eevee can only evolve into Sylveon when leveled up with Max Friendship and while knowing a Fairy-type move. The first Fairy-type move Eevee learns via level-up is Baby-Doll Eyes at level 15.
