Prime Video Just Launched Its Biggest Streaming Bundle Yet, and It’s Packed With Fall Premieres
Streaming fatigue has become a genuine cultural talking point over the past few years, with viewers increasingly juggling half a dozen or more subscriptions just to keep up with their favorite shows. Amazon has spent the past several years quietly building out solutions to that exact problem, steadily expanding its Prime Video Channels offering with two-service bundles designed to simplify the whole mess.
Those earlier bundles, pairings like AMC+ with MGM+, or STARZ with BritBox, gave subscribers modest savings while testing the waters for something more ambitious. That experimentation has now culminated in the company’s biggest consolidation move yet, arriving right as several of these networks gear up for a packed slate of fall premieres.
Beginning September 15, Prime Video officially launched a five-service streaming bundle combining AMC+, BritBox, MGM+, PBS Masterpiece, and STARZ, available in the U.S. for $29.99 per month, marking the first time all five services have been packaged together under a single subscription.
The pricing math behind the bundle makes a compelling case for cord-cutters looking to consolidate. Subscribing to all five services individually would run customers roughly $49.95 a month, meaning the new bundle delivers savings of nearly 39 percent, or close to $19 monthly, for anyone who regularly watches content across these platforms.
Ryan Pirozzi, Head of Prime Video Channels U.S., framed the launch as a significant milestone for the platform. “Today marks a milestone for our customers, the launch of the first-ever five-service streaming bundle on Prime Video,” Pirozzi said in a statement. “With AMC+, MGM+, BritBox, PBS Masterpiece, and STARZ together, Prime Video customers get the premium entertainment they love, all in one place.”
BritBox parent company BBC Studios also weighed in on the launch, with Direct to Consumer CEO Robert Schildhouse describing the bundle as a compelling way to introduce new viewers to the network’s catalog of British mysteries and dramas.
The timing of the bundle’s launch lines up with a genuinely packed release calendar across all five services. STARZ brings its full Power Universe and all eight seasons of “Outlander” to the mix, alongside the prequel series “Outlander: Blood of My Blood,” which was set to premiere just three days after the bundle’s launch on September 18.
AMC+ contributes originals including “The Vampire Lestat” and “The Walking Dead: Dead City,” with upcoming fall series “Kill Jackie” and “YAGA” also part of the lineup. MGM+ brings its sci-fi horror hit “From” alongside crime drama “The Westies” and the new thriller “American Hostage,” while PBS Masterpiece offers “All Creatures Great and Small” and “Miss Scarlet,” with “The Marlow Murder Club” Season 3 and “Maigret” Season 2 both arriving October 18. BritBox rounds things out with British staples like “Ludwig,” “Blue Lights,” and its extensive catalog of Agatha Christie adaptations.
This move places Prime Video squarely in competition with other major streaming aggregators, following Comcast’s recent expansion of its own StreamSaver package to encompass six different streaming services. As the bundling wars between major platforms continue heating up, Amazon’s latest five-service package gives subscribers one of the more substantial consolidated offerings currently available in the U.S. market.
