Ralph Ineson Hints at Comic-Accurate Galactus Role with Official Confirmation

The upcoming ‘Fantastic Four’ movie in the MCU is generating a lot of buzz. A few months ago, the release date and cast were revealed, confirming what fans had been speculating. Pedro Pascal will portray Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, Joseph Quinn as the Human Torch, and Julia Garner as Silver Surfer.
Recently, more casting news dropped. Ralph Ineson is set to play Galactus, while John Malkovich and Paul Walter Hauser have also joined the cast in undisclosed roles.
Now that the excitement has calmed down, Ineson took to social media to confirm his role as the movie’s main villain. He also dropped a hint for fans, suggesting a faithful portrayal of the character from the comics.
Galactus has made previous live-action appearances, notably in ‘Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer’, depicted as a formless cloud of cosmic energy, with his iconic helmet making a brief appearance. While fans were disappointed by this portrayal, it was nonetheless daring to introduce Galactus into the cinematic universe. Additionally, an unused storyboard for ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ by Anthony Winn hinted at Galactus being planned as one of the antagonists for Jane Foster’s Mighty Thor to confront upon acquiring Mjolnir.
Regardless, we can anticipate a far superior depiction of Galactus in ‘The Fantastic Four’, largely thanks to advancements in CGI since previous attempts. Have thoughts to share? Drop them in the comments section!
