New Reports Reveal Plot Details for Upcoming White Vision MCU Project, Teasing Ultron’s Return
In October 2022, Deadline reported that a second MCU ‘WandaVision’ spinoff series was being developed. They shared that the show would focus on White Vision from ‘WandaVision.’
The show was tentatively called ‘Vision Quest,’ but there were no updates on it for nearly two years.
The SAG-AFTRA strike caused many projects to be canceled or delayed, so it wasn’t surprising that we didn’t hear much about the Vision show. Recently, it was confirmed that the show is still in development and is set to release in 2026, with Paul Bettany returning as White Vision.
In the ‘WandaVision’ finale, S.W.O.R.D. created a new version of Vision called White Vision. Wanda’s Vision tries to restore White Vision’s memories using the Mind Stone, leading to a debate about what makes someone the “real” Vision. White Vision eventually remembers who he is and flies off without explanation, leaving his fate unclear. The new show will reportedly take place after the events of ‘WandaVision.’
Marvel Updates, a fairly well-known and reliable leaker, shared some rumors about the upcoming Vision show. According to them, White Vision wants to have a family like Vision did with his imaginary children in Westview. White Vision will create Virginia, Viv, and Vin.
The show will supposedly connect to the ‘Young Avengers’ movie, which is in development, and set the stage for Ultron’s return.
Ultron is one of the most famous Avengers villains in the comics, so it wouldn’t be surprising if the studio decided to bring him back. Many fans were unhappy with how he was handled in the MCU so far.
