Rob McElhenney Hilariously Confirms ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Cameo

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is one of the most highly anticipated upcoming MCU releases, and for good reasons. The movie is rumored to feature numerous cameos and variants, marks Deadpool’s debut in the MCU, and brings Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine after his retirement from the role. It’s also speculated to lead into ‘Secret Wars,’ though this rumor should be taken with a grain of salt.
Recently, an unexpected cameo has been confirmed, adding to the excitement among fans.
In the latest episode of ‘Welcome to Wrexham,’ which premiered on May 23, viewers saw Rob McElhenney visit Ryan Reynolds on the set of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ in London. Although much of the set footage was blurred, fans received an exciting update about the documentary.
Reynolds explained that McElhenney was invited to the set to discuss Wrexham matters due to his busy schedule. When offered a role in the film, McElhenney eagerly accepted.
The footage shows Shawn Levy excited to have McElhenney on set. Reynolds mentioned he couldn’t reveal McElhenney’s character due to concerns about “Marvel drone assassination.” Adding to the intrigue, McElhenney wore a large jacket to conceal his costume, while Reynolds appeared in his Deadpool outfit. We’re confident that Rob’s role will bring plenty of humor to the table. ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is slated for release in the United States on July 26, 2024, as part of Phase Five of the MCU.
