Rumored ‘Spider-Man 4’ Plot Teases Peter Parker’s Darkest Storyline Yet
The MCU has a lot of movies coming up, even though Marvel Studios has had some recent struggles. There have been talks about releasing fewer projects since fans are getting tired of lower-quality shows and movies. However, Spider-Man always manages to draw crowds, being the most profitable Marvel franchise.
The script for the next Spider-Man movie isn’t finished yet, and the studio is looking for a new director after Watts left the project. Still, some details about the story have emerged.
Industry insider and frequent leaker Alex Perez recently talked about the plot of the upcoming Spider-Man movie. According to him, Peter Parker will face some emotional and mental challenges in his next solo film.
It’s trauma, PTSD and a whole lot of nightmares. Lots of stressful nights and being unable to sleep, using Spider-Man as a coping mechanism so he doesn’t have to deal with the nightmares of his past. Y’all are finally getting that depressed Peter Parker y’all wanted.
This lines up with earlier reports that ‘Spider-Man 4’ will have a more grounded story but with a Multiversal twist. There has been talk that Feige wants to try something new with the upcoming movie, especially since ‘No Way Home’ set a high bar.
The script for ‘Spider-Man 4’ isn’t finished yet, but production is expected to start in late 2024, so the movie might be released sometime in 2026 or later.
