The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has an extensive lineup of projects for the coming years, including confirmed and actively developed ones, along with speculative ones like ‘Thor 5’ and ‘Eternals 2.’ The ‘Black Panther’ film series, highly popular with two installments so far, has introduced key characters to the MCU.

Wakanda takes center stage in several upcoming projects within the Multiversal Saga. Ryan Coogler’s Wakanda-Set Television Series, an Untitled Okoye Series, and the animated series ‘Eyes of Wakanda’ set for a 2024 release are among them. As per MCU News & Updates on X, ‘Black Panther 3’ is currently in development, featuring Letitia Wright as the lead, succeeding the late Chadwick Boseman.

Initially hesitant to recast Boseman’s role, the studio opted for continuity by having his in-universe sister assume the Black Panther mantle. The Midnight Angels are expected to tie into the storyline, with a significant focus on Vibranium, a valuable resource sparking tensions leading to a conflict between the US and Wakanda.

The status of Doctor Doom raises questions, especially with Majors’ arrest and uncertainty surrounding Kang’s role as the main villain. Recent rumors suggest Doom might replace Kang, but contrary to speculation about ‘Fantastic Four,’ the source indicates Doom’s involvement in ‘Black Panther 3,’ though the extent remains unknown.

Personally, I’m skeptical about these rumors, given the numerous Wakanda-focused projects in development and the risk of overshadowing characters with limited appearances. With Disney’s presence confirmed at CinemaCon on April 11th, we hope for more details on their upcoming projects. Share your thoughts in the comments below!
