Rumors: ‘Fantastic Four’ Reboot to Feature a Notable Herald of Galactus

The upcoming MCU movie ‘Fantastic Four’ has been generating a lot of buzz lately. Just a few days ago, the release date and cast were finally confirmed, confirming long-standing speculations. Pedro Pascal is set to play Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), while Vanessa Kirby will take on the role of Sue Storm (Invisible Woman). Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn will portray The Thing and the Human Torch, respectively.

Filming is scheduled to kick off this summer, with a change in the release date affecting ‘Thunderbolts,’ which will now premiere earlier than expected on May 2, 2025. However, despite the main cast being locked in, details about the movie’s villain remain elusive.

Recent rumors have been swirling, suggesting that Galactus might make an appearance, with Javier Bardem rumored to be a top contender for the role. Additionally, there’s speculation about Galactus’ Herald, with early rumors suggesting it could be a female character. While this idea has sparked debate among fans, it’s worth noting that female Heralds have appeared in the comics, although Silver Surfer remains the most iconic.

According to The Geeky Cast, it’s rumored that Terrax, a Herald of Galactus, will make an appearance in the movie. Marvel Studios is reportedly searching for an actor to portray this character.

Terrax the Tamer, previously known as Tyros, ruled as a dictator over the city-state Lanlak on the moon of Birj, situated in a distant solar system. His control over his domain stemmed from a unique ability to animate constructs made of earth and rock. Tyros was motivated by a thirst for power and conquest, leading a life characterized by indulgence and violence. His actions drew the attention of Galactus. Surprisingly, Galactus enlisted the Fantastic Four’s help to capture Tyros, deeming him a perfect herald due to his complete lack of morality.

Upon being captured by the team, Tyros was exposed to the Power Cosmic and transformed into Terrax the Tamer. He would eventually betray Galactus, posing as one of the most formidable threats the Fantastic Four ever encountered.
