When you put it like that, it’s a pretty solid explanation. However, we need to remember that Reynolds’ Deadpool was aware of Logan’s death in 2018’s Deadpool 2. But, this is Deadpool, he’s always about breaking the fourth wall so we don’t need to cross every T or dot every I. Jackman’s return as Wolverine has certainly hyped the fans up, and we cannot wait for September 2024 when the movie finally hits theaters. Knowing Reynolds and Jackman, it will definitely be a great buddy movie. And don’t forget, rated R has been confirmed!

Shawn Levy, who worked with Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project, has been confirmed to helm the upcoming Deadpool movie after Tim Miller and David Leitch directed the first two Deadpool movies. Logan director James Mangold has also expressed his excitement for Deadpool 3 on Twitter.

Deadpool 3, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, is set to be released on September 6, 2024.
