‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is highly anticipated in the MCU. After the SAG-AFTRA strike, its development resumed like many other projects. Initially expected delays caused schedule changes, with ‘Captain America 4’ swapping dates with ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ before facing nearly a year’s delay, now set for release on February 15, 2025.

Later, it was revealed that significant reshoots and rewrites were underway due to poor initial test screening results.

Now it appears that the movie’s production is nearing completion, as exclusive footage was screened during this year’s CinemaCon at the Marvel Studios panel.

The footage features Sam Wilson in action, Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Ross, and the new Captain America suit.

In the clip, Sam Wilson meets President Thunderbolt Ross at the White House, where Ross proposes reuniting the Avengers under a new Captain America. However, there are hints that Ross may have hidden motives. Chaos ensues during a meeting when a mysterious villain takes control, leading to intense action scenes with Sam defending himself against Secret Service agents. Sam teams up with Joaquín Torres in action sequences, culminating in a tense confrontation between Sam and Ross. Sam admits he’s not Steve Rogers before putting on the new silver and blue Captain America suit.

Mackie mentions the film will be fast-paced, realistic and centered around Sam Wilson.

“Captain America: Brave New World” is scheduled to debut in the United States on February 14, 2025, as part of Phase Five of the MCU. Want to share your thoughts? Drop a comment below!
