One of the most talked-about animated superhero series lately is the ‘Spider-Verse’ franchise. The first movie, ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,’ was a huge hit, and its sequel, ‘Across the Spider-Verse,’ has broken records too.

This film, the first from Sony Pictures Animation to be released globally since ‘The Angry Birds Movie 2’ in 2019, received great reviews and set various box office records. It did even better than the first one, making a massive $690.5 million worldwide and ranking as the third-highest-grossing film in the U.S. for 2023.

Recently, Chris Miller confirmed that the third ‘Spider-Verse’ installment, ‘Beyond the Spider-Verse,’ is in development, although details about the plot were scarce.

Additionally, singer and songwriter D4vd hinted at his involvement in the upcoming film. You can watch the full exchange in the video below.

David Anthony Burke started his music journey by making videos for the Fortnite game. To avoid copyright problems, he started making his own music. He got noticed with tracks like ‘You and I’ and ‘Take Me To the Sun’ on SoundCloud, which later got popular on TikTok.

His song ‘Romantic Homicide’ hit No. 3 on the Hot Alternative Songs charts, which got him signed by Darkroom and Interscope Records in September 2022. Later, ‘Here with Me’ gained traction on TikTok and other music charts. His first EP, ‘Petals to Thorns,’ came out in May 2023. In March 2024, he joined 100 Thieves as a content creator and made a song called ‘Feel It’ for the series ‘Invincible’ on Amazon Prime Video.

It’s likely that D4vd will work on the movie’s soundtrack.
