Sony’s Uncharted: New Official Clip For Tom Holland’s Adventure Movie Revealed

Ever since his career launched in the sky, mainly thanks to his role as Spider-Man, Tom Holland became a frequent collaborator with Sony Pictures. After playing Spider-Man in three Sony movies (and three more MCU movies produced by Marvel Studios), Tom Holland is now set to play one more iconic character — Nathan Drake!
Before we see him as Fred Astaire in Sony’s upcoming biopic, and before we get official news if he’s going to return for Spider-Man 4 (which producer Amy Pascal confirmed, but Holland still remains coy about his return), Tom Holland will play the main role in Uncharted, the first live-action adaptation of Naughty Dog’s video game franchise.
Two trailers were released so far, and Sony now revealed the official clip from the movie, which can be seen down below:
Naughty Dog developed the original Uncharted game in 2007 exclusively for PlayStation 3. Two sequels followed in 2009 and 2011, and the fourth installment, which concluded Nathan Drake’s story, was released in 2016 for PlayStation 4. The original trilogy was re-released for PS4 in 2015. The spin-off game, The Lost Legacy, was released in 2017, with the franchise’s popular character Chloe Frazer as the main playable character. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is set to be released next year for PC and PlayStation 5.
“Street-smart thief Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white- knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world’s oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate’s long-lost brother…but only if they can learn to work together.” — Uncharted, official synopsis
Directed by Ruben Fleischer (Venom), and starring Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas, Uncharted is set to be released on February 18, 2022.
