Sony Pictures revealed the second official trailer for the upcoming movie adaptation of the popular video game franchise Uncharted.

Uncharted is a series of action-adventure video games developed by Naughty Dog (developers of The Last of Us) and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Amy Hennig created the franchise that started with Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, the first video game of the series that was released exclusively for PlayStation 4.

The franchise spawned three sequels and one spin-off game until 2017. Nolan North voiced the protagonist Nathan Drake, an adventurer and treasure hunter who searched the world for various historical mysteries. The last installment of the series, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was released in 2016 and it concluded Nathan Drake’s story. The spin-off game, The Lost Legacy, followed in 2017, focused on the popular character Chloe Frazer.

Now, when a video game franchise gets so much popularity, it’s only a matter of time before we get a movie adaptation. Zombieland and Venom director Ruben Fleischer is directing this movie adaptation in which Spider-Man star Tom Holland plays Nathan Drake, and Mark Wahlberg plays Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan. The movie also stars Sophia Ali as Chloe Frazer and Antonio Banderas as the movie’s antagonist.
