The Patrick Star Show

The Patrick Star Show is SpongeBob SquarePants’ second spin-off show and premiered on July 9, 2021, on Nickelodeon. The show follows Patrick Star hosting a talk show with his family at his family’s home. As of November 2022, the show has a total of 19 episodes and was renewed for a second season.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie

Originally released on November 19, 2004, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, was the first movie of the franchise and is iconic to this date. It followed SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star on a journey to find Neptune’s crown which was stolen by Plankton in order to save Mr. Krabs and Bikini Bottom. It featured many fan-favorite moments and live-action scenes where pirates go to the movies to see said film and SpongeBob and Patrick meeting David Hasselhoff.

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water

Originally released on February 6, 2015, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water was the first 3D SpongeBob movie made in parts with CGI. The plot followed a villain voiced by Antonio Banderas who stole the secret formula of the Krabby Patty, leading SpongeBob and his friends to go to the surface and try to stop him. While the characters are in the outside world they take 3D forms and change into superheroes, interacting with live-action people.

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run

Originally released on March 4, 2021, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run is the most recent SpongeBob movie and was made entirely in 3D. It was released directly on Paramount+ due to the COVID pandemic. The movie follows SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star on a trip to rescue Gary, while both of them remember their childhood and how SpongeBob met everyone for the first time. It also served as a base for the spin-off series Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years as that setting was introduced in the movie.
