The 1990s was really the golden age for cartoons. There have been so many cartoons we enjoyed watching as children or teens and even today we recall some of our favourite fictional characters’ deeds and words. There can be so many more on this list, but we have decided to bring you 60 of the best and most popular 90s cartoon characters. Hope you’ll enjoy it and be reminded of some of your favourites, too.

Bart Simpson (The Simpsons)

One of the most famous cartoon characters of all time is this stubborn, rebellious, misunderstood, but a clever boy who lives with his family in Springfield, Missouri. The oldest of three, Bartholomew Jojo “Bart” Simpson, this self-proclaimed prankster is often the main cause of various mischiefs.

He is always in detention and it seems that his main concern is to get in trouble, in school or at home. He likes to watch TV, play video games, terrorize his younger sister Lisa, and constantly feels frustrated for being misunderstood by the narrow-minded people of his hometown.

Homer Simpson (The Simpsons)

Homer Simpson is one of the funniest characters that have ever been seen on screen. The main protagonist of the hit series The Simpsons, Homer is an ordinary man who likes to spend time at a local bar with his best friends or simply chill in front of the tv and think about nothing.

Homer is one of the most complex characters ever, his personality going from a complete moron and ignorant to a loving husband and father which makes him irritating and lovable at the same time. He has no problem showing his feelings, sometimes even too fast and too literal, but this shows his passionate side, which has many times helped him.

Dexter (Dexter’s Laboratory)

Dexter is a boy genius who has his own laboratory where he has created numerous machines and conducted a lot of interesting experiments. He wants to work every day, creating and inventing something new, but is constantly interrupted by his boring little sister Dee Dee.

He is extremely short and has curly red hair. He wears a pair of glasses and a white lab coat with black buttons on it. He speaks with a Russian family, while the rest of his family has no accent at all.

Although highly intelligent, he can get oversensitive and overexcited and therefore fails in some of these experiments. His lab remains a secret to overly cheerful people who have no ability in noticing it even when it’s in front of their eyes.

Bender (Futurama)

According to his creators, Bender was built in Mexico and is often referred to as a Latin charmer by his friends. His full name is Bender Bending Rodriguez and is a high-industrial metalworking robot. 

Unlike other robots, Bender is mortal but has still many many years to live. He is an interesting individual, pretty complex, with often sociopathic behaviour. He is a compulsive liar and rarely shows any empathy.

He enjoys cooking and loves everything about it, even though he has no sense of actual human taste and is always preparing dishes that can kill everyone. He also thinks that humans eat rocks

Arnold (Hey Arnold!)

Arnold Shortman is the main character in the tv series Hey, Arnold. He is a small boy, rather smaller than his colleagues and friends and his head is formed like a giant American football. He has long yellow hair with a tiny blue hat in the middle. 

He is a nice kid, calm, enthusiastic and optimistic and sees only the best in people. But he can also show his other side, when he is pushed too far and when he realises that everyone is not as nice as they seem. He is a truly wonderful kid whose personality could be discussed in length.

Johnny Bravo (Johnny Bravo)

One of the most memorable cartoon characters is this blonde-haired guy with big muscles and black sunglasses. He was loosely based on James Dean and Elvis Presley. He lives with his mother and is always flirting and attempting to get women to like him, but mostly unsuccessfully.

He always gets into the most incredible situations, accompanied by many celebrity guest characters and the series, in general, is well-known for its pop culture references, together with adult humour. 

Lisa Simpson (The Simpsons)

This intelligent, charismatic 8 year old girl is the middle child in the eccentric Simpson family. Lisa excels in everything she does and is often the moral centre of her family, but at school, everyone looks at her as an overachiever and therefore she has only a few friends.

Her hobbies are countless, from riding and playing saxophone and guitar to interests in advanced studies. She is a bit of an outsider in her family, being interested in things no one cares about, especially her closest ones. Despite her mostly appealing personality, Lisa can sometimes be cruel, a bit crazy and rebellious.

SpongeBob Squarepants (SpongeBob Squarepants)

This eccentric and hilarious character lives with his aquatic friends in an underground city called Bikini Bottom. SpongeBob is one of the most beloved cartoon characters ever, making people love him for his childish and positive behaviour.

He works as a fry cook and is extremely skilled in his job, but also enjoys it immensely. Even though he has a dream job, cooking is not enough for him and his biggest dream is to receive his boating license, but every time he wants to drive a boat, he becomes tense and starts driving recklessly.

Pinky (Pinky and the Brain)

Pinky is one of two main characters in the cartoon Pinky and the Brain, a lab mouse and an assistant to his roommate The Brain. He is a funny and open-minded character who is often confused and sometimes brings trouble to his serious friends.

Pinky is an extremely interesting character, with many personality traits, such as optimism and a good heart, but at the same time complete oblivion of what is going on around him and lack of focus which can sometimes put him in various dangerous situations.

Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup (The Powerpuff Girls)

These three girls are superheroes with countless powers, such as flight, superhuman strength, speed and senses, x-ray vision and space survivability. They are cute and a bit funny looking, with their oval heads and extremely big eyes. 

Blossom is their self-proclaimed leader, strong and determined. Bubbles is kind and very sweet, understands and speaks multiple languages and can communicate with animals. Buttercup is described as a “tough headed tomboy” since she always wants action and likes to play rough. Each of them has her own special power as well.

Kenny McCormick (South Park)

One of the weirdest characters ever is definitely this poor little boy who dies in each episode of this satirical tv series. He always wears an orange parka, brown gloves and orange pants. He always wears his hood so his eyes are the only things we see.

Kenny is a complex and intriguing character who always mumbles and therefore it is very difficult to understand him. But he has a lot to say and is also the most sexually experienced in the group. He is very strong, and skilled with weapons and this ability to be immortal is one of the most mysterious things about him.

Batman (Batman: The Animated Series)

Batman is a pretty tragic character, a young man with a sad past in which he lost his parents. He grew up to be one of the greatest detectives in the world and despite all these obstacles, he managed to overcome every one of them and dedicate his life to wiping out crime in his hometown of Gotham City. He is one of the most feared crimefighters in the world, with his intelligence and obsessive determination.

He is not very social, keeps to himself and hasn’t got many friends. He is surrounded by a few people he trusts and cares for and is not ready to share his feelings with the new ones. He is in a great physical condition, due to years of intense physical training and shows the highest levels of strength, speed, durability and reflexes. He is undoubtedly one of the biggest superheroes ever.

The Brain (Pinky and the Brain)

Brain is an intelligent megalomaniac mouse who has a desire to take over the world. He’s constantly making plans on how to do it, but his attempts and ideas are almost always interrupted by his reckless companion Pinky.

Brain is very confident and believes in his brilliance and honestly thinks that he would be a good leader. On the other hand, his social skills are pretty basic, since he has a hard time talking to others, and doesn’t think about their feelings, mostly due to this awkward sensation when surrounded by someone else other than Pinky.

Eric Cartman (South Park)

One of the four main characters in this witty and intelligent tv-series is Eric Cartman, an elementary school student who lives with his mum and spends his days with his best friends. Cartman is a character that not many would like to have as a friend, but still, find many similarities between him and themselves.

He is narcissistic, rude, eccentric, aggressive and even starts expressing some signs of sociopathic behaviour as the show goes on. But even though we don’t approve of his behaviour, Cartman is known as the most popular character on the show and one of the most beloved and famous in cartoon history.

Wakko Warner (Animaniacs)

Wakko is the middle child of three Warner siblings, the one who is mostly associated with slapstick comedy. He is also the only one who speaks with a non-American accent. His species and origin are unknown and they usually refer to themselves as Warner brothers or Warner sister.

Wakko is extremely energetic and is always up for comedy and pranks. He is positive and sweet and always in a good mood, having only a few things that can disappoint him or make him sad. But he can also be aggressive and shows this side of himself more than his siblings.

Maggie Simpson (The Simpsons)

Maggie is the youngest child of Marge and Homer Simpson, a one-year-old baby, mostly seen with a pacifier in her mouth. Despite being the quietest and least heard and seen of all Simpsons characters, Maggie is still an interesting, multi-layered character.

Even though everyone treats her like a helpless little girl, Maggie is pretty tricky and often shows violent manners and surprising physical strength. She can be quite mischievous, too, but she is always there for her family and has even saved Homer on a few occasions.

Fry (Futurama)

Fry is the main character in the science fiction tv series Futurama who was cryogenically frozen in 2000 and revived in 2999. He is an ordinary looking guy, with fair skin and orange hair, in a T-shirt and blue jeans.

He is pretty lazy and spends his days at work sitting on a couch and watching TV. Besides laziness, he can sometimes be immature and even ignorant, but all in all, he is a good and sensitive guy who would do everything for his friends.

Spider Man (Spider Man: The Animated Series)

Peter Parker is a student and a freelance photographer, a highly intelligent young man who adores science. After being bitten by a radioactive spider, he acquired different special skills which he decided to use for helping others, but also becoming more popular.

As Spider Man he has a number of superhuman abilities, such as superhuman strength, durability, senses, reflexes and speed. Peter is caring and loyal and always there for his family and friends and very often he hates his alternative self for all the problems it is causing him.

Squidward Tentacles (SpongeBob SquarePants)

One of the most interesting characters in SpongeBob SquarePants tv-series is this arrogant and grumpy octopus, Bob’s and Patrick’s neighbour. He is an artist and musician who likes to paint self-portraits and play the clarinet.

Squidward is cynical and selfish and doesn’t like company, hates his job and is often irritated by SpongeBob’s energetic personality. He is really not someone you would like to have a chat with, since you might get very tired of his constant complaining and negative observations.

Wolverine (X Men)

Wolverine is a mutant going by the name of Logan, a man with a mysterious and confusing past. He was kidnapped as a young man and had his mind wiped by an unknown agency that afterwards trained him and made him a killing machine.

He is an extremely strong mutant with heightened senses and accelerated healing abilities. His strongest weapon are his claws that stick out of his hands when he feels threatened and needs to engage in a fight. 

Marge Simpson (The Simpsons)

Marge is a tall, slender woman with blue hair, the homemaker and often a moral vertical in the Simpsons family. She is a nice and loving woman who takes care of her family and tries to provide them with all the comfort and love they need. 

She cares for her family and is always trying to be supportive, calm and cool, but sometimes she can be caught in certain episodes of explosive outbursts of anger. 

Ed (Ed Edd n Eddy)

Ed is the strongest and the least intelligent of all the main characters in this funny tv series. He has ginger hair and horse teeth, yellow skin and is pretty tall. He doesn’t care much about his appearance and can often be seen wearing dirty clothes.

He is a very easy-going and happy-go-lucky kind of person and would never hurt anyone he is fond of. His sister is often giving him a hard time, but he is always trying to be kind and nice to her. All in all, Ed is a loveable character, known for his childlike and naive behaviour, a guy you simply must like.

Leela (Futurama)

Leela is a badass, an independent and stubborn woman who doesn’t like being told what to do. She is the captain of the Planet Express Ship and runs it with passion and devotion. She is a tall and muscular woman with purple hair and one eye that takes up most of her head.

She is sensitive, but very focused and always centred on work. She is known for her care for endangered animals and for putting work before pleasure and fun.

Daria Morgendorffer (Daria)

Darla was one of the main characters in Beavis and Butt-head who got her own spin-off in 1997. She is mostly known for her sarcasm and cynical comments to almost anything and anyone. She is also very intelligent, which has somehow isolated her from her peers.

Her personality was shaped by the way her peers treated her and resulted in detachment and isolation and an inability to adapt to socially accepted norms.

Beetlejuice (Beetlejuice)

One of the most beloved antagonists ever in a cartoon is this mischievous ghost and trickster. He is rude and cruel and even if he seems to be fun to be around, he is not someone you would want to be friends with.

Constantly invading someone’s personal space, talking all the time and scaring people. He is a corpse who eats bugs and insects and a pretty mean character who always wants to have it his way and is often using different means to achieve that.

Sailor Moon (Sailor Moon)

The main protagonist in the series of the same name, Sailor Moon is a girl with supernatural abilities, who is in real life the complete opposite of her superhero self. Like Serena, she can be pretty annoying, constantly whining and complaining about things.

When she transforms into this remarkable warrior, Serena becomes brave and concentrated and is a beautiful role model to all little girls who idolise her. She is a true inspiration and proof that hard work can lead to fascinating things.

Balto (Balto)

Balto is a beautiful wolfdog with brown-grey fur who always wanted to be a sledge dog but was always teased for not being a full-bred dog. He slowly overcame this obstacle and is now proudly showing his wolf side.

He is smart, brave and trustworthy and very kind and loyal and everyone can always depend on him since he is constantly looking after his friends. 

Doug Funnie (Doug)

Doug is an eleven-year-old boy, an occasionally sensitive and naive boy who wants to fit in. He is very creative and has a great imagination and a strong sense of right and wrong. He is an artist with a talent to write and he plays the banjo in his spare time.

He is the narrator in the show and always writes about his emotions and experience in his journal. He has just moved to a new town with his parents and sister and at first, he will have a hard time adjusting to this new situation but his nice personality will make it easier for him to find his place there.

Tommy Pickles (Rugrats)

Tommy is the main character in the animated tv series Rugrats and is the leader of his group. He is a baby, bald and in diapers and translates everything that adults say to baby gibberish while speaking in a soft voice.

He is compassionate, intelligent and brave and leads his group of friends on many adventures, where they have to solve the great mysteries of life. We follow his growth and change from a baby to a young man and witness his transformation into a successful, loyal and adventurous character.

The Joker (Batman: The Animated Series)

The Joker is the alter ego of the mob boss Jack Napier and Batman’s greatest enemy of all. Extremely dangerous, evil, shrewd and cunning, Joker tried in every possible way to take over Gotham City. 

Regardless of his craziness, he has always been an organised planner who never lacked ideas for his schemes. He is a big liar and has great imagination which can be seen in the amount of invented stories he will tell you if he wants to get something from you.

Ord (Dragon Tales)

Ord is a large and strong turquoise blue dragon who is scared of many things, for example, bugs. He becomes invisible when he smells fear. His biggest wish is to be braver and he even has a badge that lights up when he overcomes his fears.

He adores food, has a big appetite and can always be seen taking snacks out of his pouch. He is a great friend and would do anything for his best friends, especially Max, whom he refers to as “little buddy”.

Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – TMNT)

Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello and Michelangelo were only a group of small turtles who accidentally fell into the sewers where they got in contact with a strong chemical which caused multiple changes in their physical appearance. They have grown taller and become more intelligent. 

All of them have interesting personalities, differing from one another. Leonardo is the leader of the group and the most spiritual of the four, very serious and sensitive. He is in a constant fight with Raphael who is questioning his leadership. Donatello is a skilled technician and tinkerer, extremely intelligent and skilful. He can be very pensive and dwell on the things he doesn’t understand. He is close to his brothers and would do anything to defend them. And the last but not least, the trickster in the family, Michelangelo is always telling jokes and is frequently treated as the youngest among them. He has exceptional speed and agility and is very close to his brothers, even though they often get into fights.

Jack Skellington (Nightmare Before Christmas)

The most famous skeleton ever, Jack Skellington is the main character in the animated masterpiece Nightmare Before Christmas. He lives in Halloween Town and is the most popular and successful scarer in the city. One day he accidentally falls into a tree and finds himself in a completely opposite town, called Christmastown.

Jack is very tall and slender, always wearing black pin-striped shoes with a bow tie and black dress shoes. He can be very scary, but the visit to this magical place will completely change him and he will finally discover the true meaning of life which includes joy and happiness and not fear and dread.

Belle (Beauty and the Beast)

One of the most beloved heroines of all time is this brave and stubborn beauty who finds herself locked up in a huge castle in the middle of nowhere after she agrees to save her father’s life. She is held prisoner by a wealthy man who was turned into a beast many years ago.

Belle is educated, always with a book in her hands and has a big heart, always being ready to help everyone in need. Belle is one of the most loving characters ever, while we see that this humble and caring girl doesn’t care about looks and can see behind someone’s appearance and a somewhat unappealing behaviour.

Lola Bunny (Space Jam)

Lola is a female bunny who debuted as Bugs Bunny’s girlfriend in the 1996 success Space Jam. She is a talented basketball player and a combination of a tomboy and femme fatale. She has blue eyes and tan fur and wears purple shorts and a matching rubber band on both ears.

She is very independent, doesn’t stand being addressed as a “doll” and wants to be heard and observed as equal to male characters. She is capable of charming men around her and she never forgets about that skill of hers, especially when she wants to achieve something.

Ms. Valerie Frizzle (The Magic School Bus)

Ms. Fizzle is an eccentric and unusual former fourth grade teacher who uses various magical devices to teach children scientific concepts. The most fascinating among them is her magical school bus which has shapeshifting abilities and sometimes a mind of its own.

Ms. Fizzle is beautiful, lovely, funny, supportive, optimistic and intelligent and often mysterious. She takes great care of her students and always puts them first. Pikachu (Pokemon)

Pikachu is an electric-type Pokemon almost completely covered in yellow fur. He is small, cute and chubby, very friendly and adores being cuddled. But if in danger or not treated nicely they can become very aggressive.

His greatest special ability is static, which implies that he paralyses someone in battle if hit by a physical move. He is very intelligent and can effortlessly learn many skills which serve him greatly when needed.

Cow (Cow and Chicken)

Cow is one of the two characters in Cow and Chicken, a hilarious cartoon about these two unforgettable characters. Cow is Chicken’s seven-year old sister, often viewed as infantile and childish. She often has emotional outbursts and annoys her brother.

She is a typical little sister, teasing and challenging her older brother and thinking of all kinds of mischief she can do to him. But she is also very loving and cares for her brother, has a big heart and is always ready to do the right thing and help her loved ones.

Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic the Hedgehog)

Sonic is one of the most popular and beloved video games characters who became the main protagonist of his own movie. He is easygoing and intelligent and can get easily irritated, due to his short temper and impatience.

Ash Ketchum (Pokemon)

Ash is one of the main characters in the Pokemon tv series, a boy who dreams and tries to become a Pokemon master. As soon as he turned 10, he rushed to get his first Pokemon and ended up with Pikachu. They embarked on a journey, Ash as a completely unskilled trainer and Pikachu as his little helper, together with his friends Misty and Brock. 

They will all help him capture his next Pokemon and on their journey, Ash will meet many new friends and find himself in many situations that will change his life. Ash is kind, brave and passionate, but can sometimes be stubborn and cocky, but he will learn how to use all his traits on this great adventure that awaits him. 

Patrick (SpongeBob SquarePants)

Patrick is Sponge Bob’s best friend and neighbour, a naive and overweight pink star. He lives under a rock in his underwater hometown Bikini Bottom. He is a coral starfish with thick eyebrows, pale violet eyelids and red dots across his body.

He is a very likeable character, with his pleasant, lazy, a bit dim-witted and naive personality. He can also be pretty ignorant and can be immature and childish for his age. He annoys Bob with his questions and actions but can lose his temper quickly when someone or something upsets him.

Kyle Broflovski (South Park)

One of the main and most beloved characters in South Park is this intelligent boy who belongs to the only Jewish family in his little hometown. Kyle is an ordinary A+ student with many useful talents. He can sometimes be described as ignorant, just like his best friends, Stan, Eric and Kenny.

He loves playing video games and has tried playing numerous sports, such as basketball, baseball, hockey and dodgeball. He is a talented athlete and known as the best basketball player at South Park Elementary. Kyle’s personality has changed throughout the tv series and from a mild tempered boy, he became an individual with a shorter temper and more flare. 

Dee Dee (Dexter’s Laboratory)

Dee Dee is an energetic, talkative, easy going and small-minded older sister who is constantly sabotaging her brother’s experiments She destroys his lab in every episode of the show, not because she is mean, but mostly out of her curiosity. She is pretty stereotypically portrayed so we learn that she loves ballet, dolls and unicorns and enjoys playing with her friends.

Even though we often witness her ignorance, she is also a wise little girl, many times with a lot more common sense than her serious and genius brother. Her emotional and social intelligence is very strong and she really loves her brother and will always be by his side.

Lydia Deetz (Beetlejuice)

Lydia is the main female character in Beetlejuice, a dark comedy about a ghost who wants to come back to the land of the living. Beetlejuice is planning to marry her and is trying to trick her in many ways. She is depicted as the “goth girl”, always wearing black, with black hair and dramatic make-up.

Lydia is a kind and sensitive girl who feels isolated in the modern world and is hiding behind her clothes. She is an artistic soul who loves to write poetry and take photographs and enjoys everything connected to the paranormal and supernatural. She is never taken seriously by her father and stepmother and starts to be more joyful and open when she meets Adam and Barbara Maitland, the ghosts in the house her family moved in.

T.J.Detweiler (Recess)

T.J. is the leader of the Recess Gang in the tv series Recess, a group of six best friends who have known each other since kindergarten. He loves having fun and is very outgoing, kindhearted and friendly. 

He enjoys spending time with his best friends and is often making up different playground schemes to improve their lives. He is a bit more serious than the rest of the group but he can also be seen in numerous endeavours such as escaping detention.

Scrooge McDuck (DuckTales)

Scrooge is the richest duck in the world and definitely one of the most self-confident as well. He is an elderly duck who has worked all his life and his fortune is the result of a lot of sweat, persistence and honest work.

Scrooge is very protective of his money and he doesn’t like to spend a lot of it all these years of earning and keeping it have made him a loner and a cheapskate. He hasn’t been in touch with his family for a longer period, but things have started to change and he began opening up to some of them.

Bugs Bunny (Looney Tunes)

Bugs Bunny is one of the most iconic cartoon characters, famous for his starring roles in Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies. He is a relaxed grey hare who likes to play tricks on others. He is charismatic and shrewd and this is something that always helps him against his enemies and gives him an advantage.

Some of his most famous antagonists are Yosemite Sam, Beaky Buzzard, Tasmanian Devil and Daffy Duck. Bugs Bunny is famous for his catchphrases, such as: Be with you in a minute, folks. Eh, what’s up, doc?

Chuckie Finster (Rugrats)

Chuckie Finster is one of the main characters in the cartoon Rugrats, an adorable two years old boy who is scared of his own shadow. He sees monsters in every closet and always worries about all the things that might go wrong. He is Tommy’s best friend and is often afraid of all his adventurous ideas.

He is pessimistic and the list of his fears is growing and growing, including adventures, germs, clowns, losing his glasses and bad things happening to his friends. But he is always there for his friends, even when he doesn’t agree with some of their schemes and is the one to go to when they have a problem.

Stewie Griffin (Family Guy)

Stewie is an eccentric one-year-old infant who is mentally much older, somewhere around the fifth-grade level. He has an upper-class British accent, with an advanced vocabulary and ambiguous sexuality. He is often involved in numerous criminal acts, such as robberies, forgery and killing off many minor characters. 

He is a mastermind and his knowledge of physics and engineering is fascinating and often results in various inventions, such as robots, a mind-control device, a weather control device and the time machine, to name a few. 

Taz (Looney Tunes)

Taz is shortened for Tasmanian Devil, a ferocious and impatient but dim-witted carnivore who loses his temper very quickly. He has an enormous appetite and he will literally eat anything that comes in his way. His most famous trademark is his speech, which consists of rasps, growls and grunts.

He is extremely fast and has the ability to spin like a vortex. He is portrayed as devious, but can also be sweet at times and he has one weakness – he can be calmed by any kind of music and then easily dealt with.

Beavis and Butt-head (Beavis and Butt-head)

Beavis and Butt-head are best friends and close companions, although their relationship can sometimes be depicted as pretty unusual and difficult to understand. Butt-head is often abusive towards Beavis and often insults him. Beavis was at the beginning considered to be a sidekick, but as the show went on, his personality started to change.

Even though Beavis used to tolerate Butt-head’s behaviour, he also has his limits and he has stood up for himself on numerous occasions. Butt-head is calm and more easy-going and intelligent than Beavis, but both of them are significantly less intelligent than the rest of the characters in the show.

Captain Planet (Captain Planet and the Planeteers)

Captain Planet is one of the most famous and beloved characters from the cartoon Captain Planet and the Planeteers. He is created by the five elements of the Magic Rings, Earth, Fire, Wind, Water and Heart. His appearance is very interesting, with his crystal blue skin and a long green mullet.

Captain Plant is very funny and with a great sense of humour and is always ready to make jokes, but not in serious situations. He is always there to rescue someone in need and is very altruistic. He is powerful and has many abilities, which have never been clearly defined, but some of them are transmutation, energy blast, telepathy, super strength and invulnerability.

Professor Farnsworth (Futurama)

Professor Farnsworth had a sad childhood since his parents decided he wasn’t mature enough to start college at 14 due to his great wisdom and took him to a remote farm where he spent his teenage days away from friends and socialisation. He went mad and had a total breakdown but after years in a mental institution he finally got out.

He is exceptionally intelligent, but his senility is slowing him down. He is generally a nice person but has some negative traits, such as arrogance and spitefulness and he dislikes his employees in general. 

Carmen Sandiego (Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego)

Carmen is a professional thief who operates with her partners Player, Zack, Ivy and Shadowsan. She is a young woman with long auburn hair mostly up in a messy bun. She is very intelligent and knows a lot of things which is connected to her education since she was a little girl.

She cares for others, especially her partners and often helps them when needed and she is a big humanitarian who donates to children’s hospitals, orphanages and museums. She doesn’t know anything about herself and wants to be sure that others will have the same opportunities to get to know the world. 

She has a great number of fascinating abilities, such as multilingualism, excellent driving skills, stealth and coordination.

Goliath (Gargoyles)

Goliath is one of the two main protagonists of Gargoyles who was the leader of the original Wyvern Clan and now is the leader of the Manhattan Clan. He was named after the biblical giant Goliath and is a strong and clever warrior, with a strong sense of justice and with high morals.

He has an impressive physique, he is tall and muscular, with lavender skin and dark hair. He is one of the mightiest gargoyles alive and is not easily defeated. He is extremely strong, even for his own species and even if fights with his bare hands, he can use any kind of weapon.

Sailor Mars (Sailor Moon)

It is not easy to choose the most beloved characters from Sailor Moon since we loved all of these splendid girls with fascinating superpowers. One of the most charismatic was definitely Sailor Mars, or rei Hino when not in her superhero form.

Rei is a rebellious teen who always has something to say and is never afraid to speak her mind. Her personality can be well noticed in her superhero self since she represents planet Mars, passionate and wild. Her abilities and skills are precognition, purification and sixth sense and she shows a great affinity for fire.

Rocko (Rocko’s Modern Life)

Rocko Rama or Rocho Wallaby is an Australian wallaby and the main protagonist in the show Rocko’s Modern Life. He is hygienic, polite and caring but has anger management issues and shows great neglect of his living space.

He is pretty funny looking, with his black nose and white eyes with black pupils. His skin and fur are beige and he is always wearing a blue shirt with purple triangles and orange shoes. Rocko is described as someone who always sees only the positive in others and forgives everyone even though he knows they will do him wrong again in the future.

Harley Quinn (Batman: The Animated Series)

One of the most remarkable and fascinating characters in the Batman universe is this retired doctor and psychiatrist who used to work in Arkham Asylum where she met Joker, fell in love with him and completely changed her whole personality. She loved Joker despite his behaviour towards her, and his constant abuse and she would do anything to make him happy.

Harley is an extremely skilled criminal, with many traits that go in favour of her new line of work. She was an Olympic-lever gymnast and acrobat and is known for her many clown-themed tools, as well as her signature weapons, which include an oversized wooden mallet and an oversized revolver with a cork and barrel. 

Tarzan (Tarzan)

Tarzan is commonly known as Ape Man since he was rescued and raised by a colony of apes after the death of his parents. He grew up to be a great protector of apes and the jungle in general, never aware of the outside world. He is a muscular man, with long brown hair and a very tanned body, covered only with a brown loincloth around his waist.

He developed exceptional abilities in the jungle, impossible to other humans, such as holding things with his feet, swinging through the trees, good sense of smell and hearing. He is also a great fighter. He is an extremely positive character, brave, honourable and loyal and always trying to do what’s best for everyone else.

Bob the Builder (Bob the Builder)

Bob is a general building contractor specialised in masonry, who helps with renovations, construction and repairs along with a group of his colleagues and friends. Bob has a very nice personality, being an extremely kind and caring man who adores his job and enjoys doing it. He never loses focus and often comes up with various ideas on how to solve problems in front of him and his crew.

He is not very strict, always has time to listen to others and is known to forgive easily and is always ready to teach and correct. He has a twin brother Tom with whom he’s been very close since childhood. Bob sometimes tends to forget all the things he needs to do, but there is someone who never misses to remind him, his colleague Wendy who he is very fond of.
