At the recent Star Wars Celebration event, Lucasfilm announced a new series of animated shorts, officially titled Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, which will show us the separate background stories of the most known Jedi from the prequel era of the franchise, including Count Dooku, Mace Windu, Qui-Gon, and Ahsoka.
In one of the most recent posts on the official Star Wars Twitter account, Lucasfilm revealed the first look at the episode in which we’ll watch the origin story of Ahsoka, and the revealed images feature Ahsoka while she was still a toddler. You can check the tweet down below:
“Learn the origins of Ahsoka. Tales of the Jedi is coming Fall 2022 to @disneyplus.”
Ahsoka Tano is a fan-favorite Jedi who first appeared in the animated movie The Clone Wars in 2008, and she had her live-action debut in the second season of The Mandalorian, portrayed by Rosario Dawson. Dawson reprised the role in The Book of Boba Fett series, and she’s also set to star in her own spin-off series, which is currently in production.
Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is set to debut on Disney+ in Fall 2022. The Ahsoka live-action series is set to premiere on the same platform next year.
