“Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” is an upcoming live-action series set to expand the Star Wars universe, premiering on Disney+ in 2024. Created by Jon Watts and Christopher Ford, the show will follow a group of children—likely Force-sensitive—who embark on a perilous journey to return to their home planet after becoming lost following a mysterious discovery.

The series will draw parallels to classic children’s adventures like “The Goonies,” while also appealing to both kids and adults. It will incorporate elements reminiscent of “The Mandalorian,” featuring an adult caretaker navigating challenges alongside younger characters.

The show’s first trailer was released today, offering fans a glimpse of the main characters and the action to come.

Starring Jude Law, the cast also includes Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Robert Timothy Smith, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Tunde Adebimpe, Kerry Condon, and Jaleel White.

“Skeleton Crew” is slated to premiere on Disney+ on December 3, 2024, and will feature a total of eight episodes.
