‘Superman & Lois’ Reveals Season 4 Teaser Trailer Hinting at an Emotional Series Finale

Despite not being part of the larger Arrowverse, ‘Superman & Lois’ stands out as the CW’s best superhero show in terms of quality writing. The series has had its ups and downs, especially last year.

Following Nexstar’s acquisition of the CW and the network’s subsequent restructuring, ‘Superman & Lois’ managed to survive a wave of cancellations. However, this resulted in some main cast members being let go, a reduced writing team, and a lower episode count compared to previous seasons.

Despite these challenges, ‘Superman & Lois’ will have the opportunity to conclude its story, as it was announced that the fourth season would be the show’s last. With the premiere still months away, the teaser trailer has now been released and you can watch it below:

At this year’s Superman Celebration event, Tulloch revealed that the first episode of Season 4 will be “bananas and emotional.” She also mentioned that it will be based on “one of the comics.”

Given the Season 3 finale and what we’ve seen in the trailer, with Superman battling Doomsday, it seems likely that they are adapting the ‘Death of Superman’—one of the most shocking stories in comic book history.
