Superman is a superhero who appears in comics published by DC comics. Superman was created in 1938 by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster and is known as one of the most famous and iconic superheroes in the world. Superman also known as Clark Kent traces his origins to the fictional planet of Krypton, he was sent to earth as a baby and was adopted by Jonathan and Martha Kent. Due to exposure to Earth’s sun, Superman gained numerous Superhuman abilities which he used to fight various villains. Since the first appearance of the character, he appeared in numerous films, television series, animated series, video games, and other forms of media. Superman had a massive cultural impact and managed to inspire other fictional works.
