‘3 Body Problem’ is a sci-fi series created by David Benioff, D. B. Weiss, and Alexander Woo, is based on Liu Cixin’s novel “The Three-Body Problem,” for Netflix. The series follows Ye Wenjie, an astrophysicist who witnessed her father’s murder during the Chinese Cultural Revolution. Later drafted by the military for her expertise, she makes a critical decision at a secret radar base, setting off events that reach a group of present-day scientists, who must confront humanity’s most formidable challenge.
