The upcoming animated series will explore the lives of some of the most-known Jedi from the Star Wars universe, including Ashoka Tano, Young Count Dooku, Mace Windu, and Qui-Gon Jinn.

The series was first announced at Star Wars Celebration Day earlier this year, so we didn’t need to wait long from the announcement to the actual premiere of the series. Each episode is set during the Star Wars prequel trilogy era.

“Tales of the Jedi is an anthology of Original animated shorts, each story featuring Jedi from the prequel era, streaming Fall 2022 only on @DisneyPlus.” — Lucasfilm

Created by Dave Filoni and Charles Murray, Tales of the Jedi is starring Liam Neeson, who is reprising his role as Qui-Gon Jinn, Matt Lanter we Anakin Skywalker, Ashley Eckstein as Ashoka Tano, Janina Gavankar as Ahsoka’s mother, and Micheál Richardson as young Qui-Gon Jinn.
