Disney and Lucasfilm recently announced that The Mandalorian will return with its third season in February 2023. And now, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Bryce Dallas Howard will return to direct one of the episodes in the upcoming season of the acclaimed Star Wars series.
Bryce Dallas Howard is currently best known for the role of Claire Dearing in the Jurassic World trilogy, which will conclude next month with Jurassic World Dominion. Dallas Howard directed the fourth episode of the first season of The Mandalorian and the third episode of the second season. She also directed the fifth episode of The Book of Boba Fett.
The Mandalorian Season 3 started production last fall. Pedro Pascal returns as the titular bounty hunter who is taking care of Grogu, who is commonly known as Baby Yoda among the fans. Carl Weathers, who plays Greef Karga in the series also directed one of the episodes.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi series is the third, and newest, Star Wars series, it premiered last Friday with the first two episodes on Disney+. The next fourth series, Andor, is set to premiere on Disney+ next August. The Mandalorian will return next February, and the TV series Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew are both in development and set to premiere in 2023 as well.
