Thor: Love and Thunder Toy Set Reveals New Look At The Main Characters

While all Marvel fans are currently preoccupied with waiting for the upcoming movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, for which is Marvel has progressively increased the hype ever since the first trailer was released. But you know how it is with Marvel, you always know there’s a lot of stuff to be excited about beyond the next film and/or tv show, which is currently Moon Knight starring Oscar Isaac.

And although we cannot wait for Moon Knight, which is coming next March, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which is coming next May, we didn’t forget there’s also the fourth installment of the Thor franchise starring Chris Hemsworth. Thor: Love and Thunder, in which Hemsworth will reprise the titular role, and Natalie Portman is set to make her big return to the MCU after 2013’s Thor: The Dark World.

Although Marvel still didn’t release any official first-looks, posters, and/or trailer, we recently got a new look at three main characters — Thor, Jane Foster/Mighty Thor, and Korg — thanks to the action figures that were revealed by Hasbro. Also, LEGO® revealed a new set in which we can see the so-called ”The Goat Boat”, on which we can see also see main characters in their new costumes.

Taika Waititi, director of Thor: Ragnarok, returns as writer and director of Love and Thunder. Academy Award-winning actor Christian Bale will play the main villain — Gorr the God Butcher. The movie is also starring Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Taika Waititi, Jeff Goldblum, and Guardians of the Galaxy stars Chris Pratt, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Vin Diesel.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to be released on July 8, 2022.
