Tom Felton Will Reportedly Participate in HBO’s ‘Harry Potter’ Series

HBO’s Harry Potter series is still in pre-production and while we have received some official casting news, we still know insufficient about the show. It is supposedly going to run for seven six-episode seasons, as per a recent news report, but that is generally it.
In an environment where one has little information, there is a place for various rumors and leaks, and in this report, we have a new, interesting rumor that is coming to us straight from Britain.
Namely, based on the latest rumor, it seems that a Harry Potter alum might be back for the series, although not in the manner you’d expect!
You all remember Draco Malfoy from the series. In the movies, he was portrayed by Tom Felton, who left a significant mark on the movies due to his realistic portrayal of the hated Slytherin pupil.
Since then, Felton has appeared in various projects, and he might now be back for the upcoming series as well. Namely, as you know, cast members from the movies are not expected to return for the series, which will go with a completely new cast, but Felton might be an exception.
Although, as the rumor says, he won’t be back in an acting role. (Sorry if you thought he might be playing Lucius!) Namely, Felton could be back in a behind-the-scenes role, as he has been offered a producer role on the series.
As of this moment, it seems that he has not agreed to return, but the source reports that Warner Bros. would like to have him on board and that Rowling also agrees with this. Of course, this is just a rumor so take it with a grain of salt, but it is definitely interesting to consider.
