Ubisoft Confirms ‘Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time’ Remake is Coming Out in Early 2026

The Prince of Persia franchise has been one of the most beloved action-adventure franchises for years now, with older console players loving these games. In recent years, though, the franchise became a thing of the past, but that is about to change.

As we already know, a remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, arguably the best game in the series, is on its way and Ubisoft is working hard – we hope – on delivering the best game possible.

The game has been delayed more than once now, but it seems that we have a firmer release window now.

The remake was announced back in 2020, as you probably remember. Several dates have been put forward in these five years, but since the game hasn’t been released yet, you can guess that it had been delayed more than once.

In October last year, Ubisoft stated that the game was slated for a 2026 release, and now it seems that we have a more precise release window – it will be released by March 2026.

This piece of information was confirmed by Ubisoft and we now know that the game has a planned release window set for Q1 2026, which might seem long, but it is not, really; the time will pass quickly.

Based on the first images and the trailer we’ve seen, the game will be absolutely stunning, and we cannot wait to experience the joy of this game once again, after more than 20 years since the original release.
