‘Venom: The Last Dance’ marks the final chapter in the SSU’s ‘Venom’ franchise. Following an extended silence largely attributed to the SAG-AFTRA strike, the film has finally unveiled its first trailer in anticipation of its fall release.

Fans are thrilled that the movie will carry an “R” rating, and the trailer has already highlighted an abundance of action.

In the trailer, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and Venom are on the run, with both the footage and the movie’s title strongly suggesting a grim outcome for them. Toxin has been confirmed as the main villain of the film. Additionally, there are rumors that Kevin Feige intends to incorporate Venom into the MCU. You can watch the trailer below:

In the post-credit scene of ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage,’ Venom introduces Eddie to different universes, transporting him to the Tom Holland ‘Spider-Man’ universe. However, in the post-credits of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ Eddie returns to his own universe, leaving behind a fragment of symbiote.

With Chiwetel Ejiofor joining the cast, there is speculation he may reprise his MCU role as Mordo. The script, written by Kelly Marcel, originated from a story concept she and Tom Hardy developed together, so we can’t rely on the source material for hints.

‘Venom: The Last Dance’ is scheduled for release in the United States on October 25, 2024, in IMAX and other premium large formats. Initially planned for an October 2024 release, it was rescheduled to July 12, 2024, due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. After the strike’s resolution, the release date was moved to November 8, 2024, before being brought forward again to the original October 2024 timeframe. Recent reports suggest the movie was rescheduled due to elections.
