Daredevil: Born Again is generating significant buzz as one of the most anticipated upcoming MCU projects, thanks to both fan excitement and its tumultuous production, which has faced issues ranging from the SAG-AFTRA strike to creative clashes between showrunners and the studio.

The first exclusive footage for the series, now officially part of the MCU, was presented at this year’s D23, and fortunately, someone has leaked it online.

The teaser trailer for Daredevil: Born Again has unveiled some exciting plot details and characters for the upcoming first season. It’s officially confirmed that Muse will be the villain, while White Tiger’s appearance validates earlier set leak speculation. Additionally, Bullseye will start the season in jail.

The trailer hints at a tentative understanding between Matt Murdock and Kingpin that is likely to unravel. Unexpectedly, the show ties into Ms. Marvel by featuring Yusuf Khan, Kamala Khan’s father. It also confirms the reunion of Matt and Frank, a detail previously hinted at in set footage.

Daredevil: Born Again stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, with Vincent D’Onofrio returning as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, now running for mayor, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher. New additions include Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blade, and Kamar de los Reyes as Hector Ayala/White Tiger. Key returning characters are Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter/Bullseye.

The series is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in March 2025. It will consist of 18 episodes, divided into two halves of nine episodes each, and will be part of Phase Five of the MCU.
