Vin Diesel Begs Universal to Reveal New Fast & Furious Release Date, Teases Secret Project
Vin Diesel is asking Universal Studios to tell fans when the next Fast & Furious movie will be released. He also hinted that something special might come before the next main film, Fast X: Part 2.
Diesel has played Dominic Toretto, or “Dom,” since the first Fast & Furious movie came out in 2001. He returned once again in Fast X, which was released in 2023. That film is part of the final chapter of the franchise.
The story is expected to end with Fast X: Part 2. However, last month, Diesel teased something else might come first — a special project like Los Bandoleros, the short film that came out before Fast & Furious (2009).
Now, Diesel has posted a message on Instagram with a picture of him and co-star Michelle Rodriguez, who plays Letty in the series. In the post, Diesel asks Universal to share the release date with fans. He writes:

The hashtag #LosBandoleros2 suggests that the special project he talked about could be a new short film. It would likely focus on Dom and Letty, just like the original Los Bandoleros did.
So far, there is no official release date for Fast X: Part 2. Fans are now wondering if they’ll get to see Los Bandoleros 2 first.
Diesel’s post shows he’s just as excited as the fans are. He wants answers, and so do we. Let’s see if Universal makes an announcement soon.
