It will probably be available for streaming around the time the home releases of the movie hit stores.

Is Tokyo Revengers on Netflix?

Surprisingly enough, Tokyo Revengers is (still) not available for streaming on Amazon Prime. This is somewhat strange because Amazon Prime has a solid slate of anime on its service, but it seems that Tokyo Revengers aren’t on it at this moment. This piece of information applies both to the anime series, as well as the live-action Tokyo Revengers movie; the latter is unavailable for streaming anywhere.

Now, while the movie info might not be strange at all, what is strange is that Amazon doesn’t even offer the anime episodes for purchase, as it does with a lot of other shows via its pay-per-view model. Such series cannot be streamed, but you can buy each episode individually and then own them, so you can watch them anytime you want.

One advantage of the rent or buy option on Amazon is the lack of restriction, either in time or location. Anywhere in the world, you can buy any available season or episode of a show, which is a good thing since some streaming services don’t offer their full slate for all countries.

But, sadly, none of this applies to Tokyo Revengers, whether you’re considering the anime series or the live-action movie.

Is Tokyo Revengers on VRV?

In case you don’t know, VRV is a relatively new streaming platform that doesn’t offer any works directly, but it offers several “channels” through which you can watch the content provided by the original content owners; one example was Cartoon Network, whose content could be streamed through VRV for a period of time.

Since VRV and Crunchyroll have the same owner, we can confirm that Tokyo Revengers is available on VRV, although that is because they’re originally available on Crunchyroll.

This, of course, only applies to the anime series; the live-action Tokyo Revengers movie is not available on VRV.
