Yuto Yotsuba’s ‘Ya Boy Kongming!’ Releases 2nd PV
On February 15, the official website of the upcoming anime Ya Boy Kongming! released the series’ second promotional video. In addition, the opening song for the anime was unveiled in the PV. The new unit QUEENDOM will perform the OP “Chikichiki Banban.”

The anime is set to broadcast on April 5 on Tokyo MX and other channels. Yuto Yotsuba’s Ya Boy Kongming! is a comedy series following the adventures of the brilliant strategist Kongming in present-day Tokyo. The General of the Three Kingdoms was tired of winning battles in the field and wished to be reborn in present-day Tokyo.
The 2nd PV features protagonists Eiko Tsukumi, Kabe-Taito, and Nanami Kuon and their respective struggles in the entertainment world. As the three performers battle how to give a great performance, general Kongming comes into the picture to offer his assistance. The great general is determined to lead these young performers into victory.
Yotsuba’s Ya Boy Kongming! manga was serialized from 2019 until 2021 by Kondansha. Seven volumes are in circulation.
