18 Summer Movies Set for Release as Netflix Drops Full Schedule
Netflix has shared its full summer movie lineup, along with release dates and short previews of several upcoming films. The information comes from Netflix’s official announcements.
The streaming platform is preparing a busy season with a mix of comedies, dramas, romances, and thrillers. Some of the biggest titles include “Enola Holmes 3,” “Remarkably Bright Creatures,” and “Office Romance,” starring Jennifer Lopez.
The summer slate begins in May with the animated comedy “Swapped,” featuring voices from Michael B. Jordan and Juno Temple. Later that month, “Remarkably Bright Creatures” arrives, starring Sally Field and Lewis Pullman.
June brings more major releases. Jennifer Lopez teams up with Brett Goldstein in the romantic comedy “Office Romance,” which debuts in early June. John Cena and Eric Andre lead the comedy “Little Brother,” which is set for later in the month.
July includes the return of a popular franchise with “Enola Holmes 3,” followed by Kevin Hart’s new film “72 Hours” later in the month.
August continues the lineup with several new projects. Greta Lee stars in the sci-fi thriller “The Last House,” while Sunny Sandler appears in the dramedy “Don’t Say Good Luck,” alongside Melanie Lynskey and Max Greenfield. Other August releases include “The Whisper Man” and additional titles still to be announced.
Netflix has also listed several films under a “Coming Soon” section, including “In the Hand of Dante,” “The Debt Collector,” “A Child of My Own,” and a documentary about boxer Canelo Álvarez.
