1. Giant Eye

Giant Eye is the name of a very specific creature that the party met during their travels; it appeared fairly early in the series. It is actually a giant monster that focuses on the eyeball motif, and it is hidden in a chapel hidden within the deepest reaches of Water Town’s catacombs. It was described by the Lizard Priest as an Agent of Chaos, and the Priestess noted that one should not speak its name.

It had two powerful abilities known as Disintegration and Dispel, but the party easily defeated it, as they managed to lure it into a room filled with flour; the creature then used its attack, and the flour reacted with the heat, thus burning the Giant Eye along with the flour.

2. Goblin Lord

You can imagine how important the Goblin Lord was as an antagonist. The series’ title speaks of killing Goblins, so the main antagonist would – of course – be the leader of the Goblins, so the Goblin Lord is an exceptionally important figure.

So, in Volume 1, he gathered an army of 100 Goblins to attack the town, but a group of adventurers foiled his plan, and he was ultimately left to face Goblin Slayer in a one-on-one duel. Goblin Lord initially had the upper hand, but when Priestess intervened, Goblin Slayer managed to subdue him. Goblin Lord tried to fake tears and persuade his opponent to spare him, but Goblin Slayer did not believe him, and he simply killed him, thus bringing an end to his reign.

3. Goblin Slayer’s Older Sister

Goblin Slayer’s Older Sister is a very tragic secondary character from the series. She cares deeply for her brother, and she is the main reason why he wants to slay all the Goblins in the world. Namely, when he was just a kid, a horde of Goblins attacked their home. She hid her brother and told him not to reveal himself, no matter what happened. When the Goblins arrived, they first raped her and then killed her, all in front of her brother, who was observing all of it. She died, and her brother swore that he would avenge her by slaying all the Goblins in the world.

4. Ogre

Ogre was a powerful yet minor antagonist who appeared early on in the story. He lived in the ancient ruins alongside a small Goblin army provided to him by the Demon Lord. He was asleep in Volume 1 when Goblin Slayer and his party arrived and slayed his army. He attacked them and overpowered them with his raw power, but Goblin Slayer then used his trump card, a gate scroll linked to the bottom of the ocean, and managed to defeat him. Ogre feared death, as was seen in his final moments, and was angry because everyone disregarded him.

5. Rhea Scout

Rhea Scout was a secondary antagonist and a truly vile and selfish individual. After it was found out that he found some treasure and kept it all to himself, he was demoted and angry with Goblin Slayer because he did not help him. He wanted to get his revenge on him, so he later ambushed him and seemingly hit him with a poison dart. As Goblin Slayer was seemingly dead, he wanted to get Guild Girl as well, but it turned out that Goblin Slayer was just faking his death, so he rose up and sliced open Rhea Scout’s abdomen, catching the vile villain off guard.

6. Warrior

Warrior was not a bad person, but he was impulsive, overconfident, and more of a skirt-chaser than a proper hero. And this ultimately cost him his life, leading him to forget the importance of teamwork. Warrior went ahead into the cave filled with Goblins along with Fighter, while Priestess and Wizard lagged.

They were all soon ambushed, and Warrior lost his composure, which allowed the Goblins to overpower him at one point. As he was unable to fight, they jumped on him and hacked his body, leaving no traces of him whatsoever.

7. Wizard

Wizard was an important and skilled secondary character, but while her legacy is still lingering, her story came to an abrupt end in Volume 1. As part of the chaos created by Warrior’s head-on entry into the Goblin den, she was ambushed and attacked by a group of Goblins, who stabbed her with a poisoned knife. When Goblin Slayer came, she begged him to kill her because the poison caused her too much suffering. He obliged and later took her body to be buried.
