Here’s Where To Continue With ‘Goblin Slayer’ Light Novel After Season 2 of the Anime
GOBLIN SLAYER! is a dark fantasy and adventure light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki. The series has been adapted into a manga and an anime franchise. If you’re a fan of the anime, you probably know by now that the second season of the anime has ended and that we’re waiting for some news on the show’s third season. While we wait, we have decided to help you follow the story until you wait. Namely, in this article, we are going to tell you where the anime left off with the final episode of Season 2, and from where you can continue reading the light novel.
Where to continue with the GOBLIN SLAYER! light novel after Season 2?
The GOBLIN SLAYER! anime series is an adaptation of the original GOBLIN SLAYER! light novel, which serves as the basis for the anime. So far, with two seasons and a movie, the GOBLIN SLAYER! is awaiting a third season which will continue the story from the light novel. But, if you don’t want to wait for the anime to know what happens, where should you start with the light novel?
Well, the second season of the anime ended with Princess being saved and Goblin Slayer returning briefly to Cow Girl to say that he knows who he is and that he has to continue slaying Goblins. This is how Volume 8 of the light novel series ended. This means that if you want to know what happens next, you should start reading from Volume 9 and simply continue reading.
Where to continue with the GOBLIN SLAYER! manga after Season 2?
The situation with the manga is a bit more tricky. Namely, the manga is not the main work, so it is also an adaptation of the light novel, like the anime. But, the manga series is even slower than the anime, and the current manga chapters are actually adapting Volume 7 of the light novel series, so there is really no reason to read the manga after Season 2 if you want to continue the story of GOBLIN SLAYER!. If you want to see the story in manga format, though, you can read it, but the plot won’t bring you any further than the anime.
