‘Final Fantasy XVI’ Drops on Xbox, ‘Final Fantasy VII Remake’ Coming in Q4 2025
As you know, the Final Fantasy franchise is one of the oldest still active video game franchises, but it’s not just that – it is a pillar of the JRPG genre and many consider it a synonym for the whole genre.
There is no doubt that Final Fantasy influenced almost every relevant JRPG release in the aftermath of its debut, and if you want a game series that effectively combined great storytelling with amazing technical elements, then this is the series for you.
There are numerous Final Fanatsy titles out there, but in this report, we are going to focus on the Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fanatsy XVI, as Xbox players will finally be able to enjoy both these titles.
The recent Xbox Games Showcase revealed tons of new gaming info, but fans of Final Fantasy really do have a lot to be happy about, as one game has been released for the Xbox, while another has been confirmed.
The first of these two games is Final Fantasy XVI, which has officially been released on the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox PC today. The release comes two years after the game’s PS5 release, and you can check out the amazing trailer:
But, that’s not all. Namely, the enhanced Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade game is also coming to the Xbox Series X and S consoles later this year. No official reveal date has been given, but the game is scheduled for a Winter 2025 release, with some speculating it could be in November. Here is the trailer:
