Don’t Miss 2024’s Biggest Action Movie on Netflix – Leaving in Just 72 Hours

If you haven’t seen Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga yet, now’s your chance — but only for the next three days. Netflix will be removing the 2024 action movie on July 16, giving viewers roughly 72 hours left to watch it before it’s gone.

Furiosa is a spin-off prequel to the 2015 hit Mad Max: Fury Road and marks the fifth film in the Mad Max series. Unlike the earlier movies that centered around Max Rockatansky, this one focuses on Furiosa, a key supporting character, and tells the story of her origin.

Despite high expectations, Furiosa didn’t quite hit the same level of success as Fury Road. The original made a massive $380.5 million at the box office on a budget about half the size of Furiosa’s $168 million. In comparison, Furiosa earned $174.3 million worldwide, which is decent but not enough to be called a big hit.

On the awards front, Fury Road was a favorite, winning many accolades and earning stellar reviews, including scores of 97 and 86 on Rotten Tomatoes. Furiosa didn’t match that awards success but still did well critically with Rotten Tomatoes ratings of 90 and 88.

Even though Furiosa didn’t perform as strongly at the box office or in awards as its predecessor, it’s still one of the best movies of 2024 so far. It might not be better than Fury Road, but it beats most other films released this year.
