Jonas Brothers Celebrate 20 Years with Epic ‘Camp Rock’ Reunion at Tour Kickoff
The Jonas Brothers kicked off their big 20th anniversary tour, JONAS20, with an exciting show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday, August 10. The band—Kevin, Joe, and Nick—gave fans a night full of memories and surprises, including a special reunion with Demi Lovato.
During the concert, Joe Jonas took the crowd back to their Disney days by performing “Gotta Find You,” a song from their 2008 movie, Camp Rock. Then, he brought out Demi Lovato, who played Mitchie Torres in the film.
The two, who were also briefly a couple in real life back in 2010, sang some of the movie’s most famous songs together, including “This Is Me” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing.” After performing “This Is Me,” Joe told the audience, “We hadn’t performed this song in almost 10 years,” while Demi added, “It might have been longer.”
Kevin and Nick also appeared in Camp Rock as band members Jason and Nate. Nick shared a bit of the story behind the scenes, saying, “Joe got the job, and then somehow our dad figured it out to get me and Kevin to be involved in the movie too.” He then invited the crowd to join them in a walk down memory lane to celebrate the movie.
Fans weren’t the only ones excited about the reunion. Demi’s husband, Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, shared a clip on his Instagram Stories showing Demi walking onto the stage to loud cheers. He wrote, “Couldn’t be more proud … I love u sooo much baby,” tagging Demi in the post. Joe and Demi also shared their joy on social media, lip-syncing to “Wouldn’t Change a Thing” and even recreating Disney star Debby Ryan’s famous speech about Disney Channel.

The night’s surprises didn’t stop there. The Jonas family joined the stage later on, including their parents Kevin Sr. and Denise Jonas, younger brother Frankie, Kevin’s wife Danielle, and their daughters Valentina and Alena. Together, they performed the band’s 2007 hit “When You Look Me in the Eyes.”
Before the tour started, the brothers talked about their upcoming shows on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on August 7. Kevin admitted that putting together the setlist was tough, saying, “There’s so much music to play… but it’s so fun because we do get to take breaks and admire each other’s work at the same time.” Joe joked about the breaks, adding, “And pee breaks mostly.”
Nick reflected on their long journey, saying it’s “hard to believe” they’ve been making music for 20 years. He shared that creating the show was challenging, “It felt basically impossible to summarize a 20-year journey with music.” But he’s happy with the final result, explaining that the setlist really shows their career and includes songs important to their journey. He also promised, “We’ve got some amazing special guests lined up and I just can’t wait.”
This tour follows the release of their latest album, Greetings from Your Hometown. The Jonas Brothers are clearly ready to celebrate two decades of music with their fans in a big way.
