A. and Margret Rey’s books, the series follows the inquisitive monkey and the Man with the Yellow Hat through science-and-math flavored adventures. Frank Welker provides George’s vocal effects, Jeff Bennett voices the Man with the Yellow Hat (Ted), and narration shifted from William H. Macy (Season 1) to Rino Romano (Seasons 2–15). Executive producers have included Ron Howard and Brian Grazer, with production by Imagine Entertainment, Universal Animation Studios, and WGBH.

Episodes are typically two 11-minute animated segments, and early seasons paired the stories with live-action STEM shorts. Over 15 seasons and nearly 200 episodes, the show has picked up multiple Daytime Emmys and has been localized widely; later seasons also featured animation work by Toon City.

Arriving Wednesday, 10/1, this fantasy drama adapts Lev Grossman’s novel trilogy and centers on Brakebills University, where Quentin Coldwater and friends discover that magic—and the Narnia-like realm of Fillory—comes with dangerous costs. The series was developed by Sera Gamble and John McNamara and stars Jason Ralph, Stella Maeve, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Hale Appleman, Arjun Gupta, and Summer Bishil across five seasons.

Production ran for 65 episodes with Universal Content Productions; key creatives included executive producers Gamble and McNamara, with Mike Cahill directing the pilot. Filming took place largely in Vancouver, and the show’s ensemble expanded in later seasons to include Brittany Curran and Trevor Einhorn in main roles.

Created, written, and often directed by Ben Chanan, the series follows DI Rachel Carey (Holliday Grainger) as she investigates crimes entangled with manipulated video, deepfakes, and national-security agendas. The cast across two completed series includes Callum Turner, Ben Miles, Lia Williams, Ron Perlman, and more.

The first run tackled the case of ex-soldier Shaun Emery, while Series 2 explored a deepfake targeting a rising politician. A six-episode third series was announced in April 2025, with filming underway in 2025. Production comes from Heyday Television and NBCUniversal International Studios for BBC One.

The story follows high schoolers whose rekindled connection grows into first love, with a principal voice cast including Minori Fujidera and Yūki Ono.

The manga began in ‘Bessatsu Margaret’ in 2021 and has a dozen collected volumes to date. The anime’s October 2025 launch includes new opening and ending themes and a broader ensemble of classmates and family members adapted from the comic.

The story kicks off when Sanda’s classmate, Shiori Fuyumura, asks him to find their missing friend, pulling the pair into a mystery that reawakens the legend of Santa. A global rollout in early October 2025 accompanies its Japanese TV debut in the Animeism block.

This biblical historical drama continues Sunday, 10/5. Created by Jon Erwin, the series tracks David’s rise from shepherd to warrior to king in 1000 BC Israel. Season 1 stars Michael Iskander as David, Ali Suliman as Saul, Stephen Lang as Samuel, and Ayelet Zurer as Ahinoam, with additional roles for Indy Lewis, Ethan Kai, and Martyn Ford. Music is by Kevin, Sean, and Deana Kiner.

The production comes from The Wonder Project, Nomadic Pictures, Kingdom Story Company, Argonauts, Amazon MGM Studios, and Lionsgate Television. Season 1 premiered in February 2025 and was renewed after strong viewership; Season 2 begins rolling out in October 2025.

Dropping Friday, 10/17, this kids’ animated spinoff from ‘The Chosen’ follows 9-year-old Abby and her friend Joshua in Capernaum as they encounter Jesus of Nazareth. Ryan Swanson (a writer on ‘The Chosen’) serves as writer, executive producer, and showrunner via 5&2 Studios, with Dallas Jenkins among executive producers.

The 14-episode first season (approximately 11 minutes per episode) features voice roles including Jonathan Roumie as Jesus, Paul Walter Hauser, Yvonne Orji, Elizabeth Tabish, and others from the live-action series reprising their characters.

Premiering Wednesday, 10/22, this six-episode psychological thriller comes from Harlan Coben and BAFTA-winner Danny Brocklehurst. Sam Claflin plays forensic psychologist Joel Lazarus, who returns home after his father’s suicide and begins experiencing disturbing visions while reopening a decades-old family tragedy; Bill Nighy appears as his late father. Quay Street Productions leads, with executive producers including Coben, Brocklehurst, Nicola Shindler, and Richard Fee; Wayne Che Yip directs episodes 1–2.

The ensemble includes Alexandra Roach, David Fynn, Karla Crome, and Kate Ashfield. First-look materials confirm an October 22, 2025 date and a compact limited-series format designed for a single, twisty run.

Tip-off is Thursday, 10/23 for this three-part documentary chronicling Hall of Famer Allen Iverson’s life—from Hampton, Virginia origins to his cultural impact on basketball. The series is directed by One9 and executive-produced by Shaquille O’Neal (Jersey Legends) and Stephen Curry and Erick Peyton (Unanimous Media).

The production promises extensive access and interviews with family, friends, and NBA peers and coaches, capturing Iverson’s on-court ferocity and off-court influence on style and identity. The three episodes roll out together on the same date.
