The French series ‘Mythomaniac’ follows Elvira Lambert, a suburban mother who fabricates a serious illness to recenter her fractured family, setting off consequences she can’t control. Created by Anne Berest and Fabrice Gobert, the show features Marina Hands as Elvira and Mathieu Demy as her partner Patrick, with Marie Drion, Jérémy Gillet, and Zélie Rixhon as their children. Leaving Amazon Prime on Tuesday, 10/28. ‘Truth Seekers’ is a British comedy-horror about broadband installer and paranormal enthusiast Gus Roberts, whose ghost-hunting side gig escalates into a larger conspiracy. Co-created by Nick Frost, Simon Pegg, James Serafinowicz, and Nat Saunders, the series stars Nick Frost, Samson Kayo, Emma D’Arcy, and Susan Wokoma, with Malcolm McDowell and Simon Pegg in key supporting roles. Leaving Amazon Prime on Thursday, 10/30. ‘Jacob’s Cross’ is a South African-Nigerian drama centered on Jacob Makhubu, a businessman pulled between powerful families and rival ambitions across Johannesburg and Lagos. Created by Catherine Stewart and produced by The Bomb Shelter, the series stars Hlomla Dandala as Jacob, with Anthony Bishop, Fabian Adeoye Lojede, Bankole Omotoso, Nandi Nyembe, and Mmabatho Montsho among the ensemble. Leaving Amazon Prime on Thursday, 10/30. ‘Bang Baaja Baaraat’ is an Indian romantic-comedy miniseries from Y-Films about Pawan and Shahana, an engaged couple whose clashing families turn wedding plans into chaos. Directed by Anand Tiwari, it stars Ali Fazal and Angira Dhar, with Rajit Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Shernaz Patel, and Ayesha Raza in pivotal family roles. The series was created and written by Anand Tiwari, with additional writing by Sumeet Vyas, and released as a short, tightly plotted season.
