Apple TV is developing a new series called Nomad, and Jason Momoa is set to lead the cast. The show takes place in the violent world of New Zealand’s outlaw bikers and follows a warrior torn between two lives, two responsibilities, and two families as he tries to figure out his true path.

The series is co-created by Kurt Sutter, famous for Sons of Anarchy, and Chris Collins. Collins, who has worked on projects like John Wick: Chapter 3, The Man in the High Castle, and The Wire, will also serve as the showrunner and is working on the pilot with Sutter.

Momoa and Brian Mendoza are also executive producers through their production company, On the Roam. Sutter will executive produce through SutterInk, while Collins will do the same through Generator Entertainment, according to Deadline.

The show promises a mix of action and drama, set in a gritty, high-stakes biker world. With Momoa leading the story and a creative team experienced in intense, character-driven storytelling, Nomad is expected to bring both excitement and emotional depth to Apple TV.
