‘Fire Country’ premiered on October 7, 2022, created by Max Thieriot, Tony Phelan, and Joan Rater. The drama follows inmate firefighter Bode Donovan as he joins a California conservation camp program, working alongside CAL FIRE crews to reduce his sentence. CBS renewed the show for an eighth and final season for the 2025–26 broadcast year, with a related spinoff, ‘Crutch’, set for Paramount+. CBS’s U.S. adaptation of the British sitcom was developed by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman and stars Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar. The series follows a couple who inherit a country estate—only to discover it’s inhabited by a group of era-spanning ghosts whom Sam can see and hear after a near-death experience. Since its October 7, 2021 premiere, the show has progressed through multiple seasons with expanding episode counts. Over two decades, the series has aired hundreds of episodes and multiple seasons and generated several spin-offs. It remains one of TV’s longest-running U.S. scripted primetime dramas.

Season 1 premiered on November 17, 2024, and Season 2 launched on November 16, 2025, with episodes rolling out weekly.
