Shannen Doherty’s estate is pushing back against her ex-husband Kurt Iswarienko, claiming he has failed to carry out several major financial duties that were agreed to in their divorce settlement.

A new motion filed on November 24 outlines the estate’s concerns. The document was submitted by Doherty’s legal team and the trustee overseeing her family trust. The filing states that Iswarienko has not followed multiple parts of the deal he signed at the time of Doherty’s death in July 2024. Their divorce had only just been finalized when she passed away after her long fight with cancer.

One of the biggest issues involves a property in Dripping Springs, Texas. The settlement required Iswarienko to sell the home, valued at around $1.5 million, and split the profit with Doherty’s estate. According to the filing, he has not put the house on the market and is still living there.

Her estate also says Iswarienko has held onto personal items that belonged to the actress, even though returning them was part of the agreement. In addition, he was required to turn over an inventory of photographs of Doherty and provide copies of all images by September 2024. The filing states that he has not completed that obligation and is now more than a year behind.

There is also a dispute involving a small aircraft the former couple co-owned. The settlement instructed Iswarienko to buy out Doherty’s share for $100,000 shortly after the plane was sold. Her estate claims he kept more than half of that amount instead of turning over the full sum.

Doherty filed for divorce in 2023 after 11 years of marriage. At the time, her representative said, “Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted… Unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option.”
