Sabrina Carpenter Condemns Trump’s White House for Using ‘Juno’ in ICE Video: ‘‘Evil and Disgusting’
Sabrina Carpenter has publicly criticized Donald Trump’s White House for using her song “Juno” in a video showing ICE raids.
The Grammy-nominated singer called out the administration on X, saying, “This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.”

The clip takes a lyric from Carpenter’s hit, where she asks, “Have you ever tried this one?”, and overlays it on footage of ICE agents handcuffing and tackling people. The White House has repeatedly used songs from pop stars who are critical of Trump to promote videos supporting his policies or celebrating ICE actions.

Carpenter is not the first artist to push back. Earlier, her friend and collaborator Taylor Swift had her song “The Fate of Ophelia” used in a similar video praising Trump, though Swift did not comment publicly.
This pattern shows a growing tension between artists and the administration over the use of music in political messaging. Carpenter’s response continues a trend of musicians standing up against the co-opting of their work for political purposes.
