‘Survivor 50’ Trailer Teases Returning Favorites, Celebrity Guests, and Fan-Driven Twists
CBS has released the first official trailer for Survivor’s 50th season, giving fans a first look at the landmark season and its “In the Hands of the Fans” theme.
The trailer premiered during the finale After Show of season 49 and highlights returning players, celebrity cameos, and the bigger scale of the milestone season.
The teaser confirms that Savannah Louie, winner of season 49, and strategist Rizo Velovic will be returning to compete again. The trailer also opens with a quote from longtime contestant Benjamin “Coach” Wade, giving a sense of the show’s history. Mike White, creator of White Lotus and a previous contestant, is also part of the cast this season.
A key part of this season is the fan-influenced gameplay. The trailer makes it clear that players are aware of the new twist, and celebrity visitors will play a role. Singer Zac Brown and YouTuber MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) will appear on the islands. Other notable celebrities expected in Fiji include Jimmy Fallon and Billie Eilish.

Host and executive producer Jeff Probst previously said, “[This season] will feel different from anything we’ve ever done.” The trailer reinforces that statement, showing that the combination of returning players, fan influence, and high-profile visitors will make season 50 both a celebration and a fresh take on the game.
The season will premiere on February 25, 2026. Returning players span multiple eras of Survivor, from early seasons like Colby Donaldson and Cirie Fields, to middle-era stars like Chrissy Hofbeck, late modern competitors such as Mike White and Christian Hubicki, and recent favorites including Savannah Louie, Rizo Velovic, and Kyle Fraser.
The milestone season promises new strategies, fan involvement, and a mix of old and new players that reflect the history of the show while introducing surprises. “We’re excited to see how fans shape the game,” Probst said, emphasizing the interactive element this season.
