Dakota Johnson Spotted Cozying Up to Role Model, Fans Speculate Romance After Chris Martin Split

Dakota Johnson was recently seen out with musician Role Model, sparking rumors that the two may be dating.

The actress and the singer, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, were spotted enjoying a candlelit dinner with friends. Photos from the evening showed them sitting close and looking very comfortable with each other.

According to TMZ, a source said that Dakota and Tucker were “cuddled up and grew very close” as the night went on. Neither has confirmed a relationship publicly, but their chemistry was noticeable to those around them.

This outing comes after Dakota’s split from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. The couple had an on-and-off relationship since 2017 and were engaged at one point before breaking up this year.

Reports in November suggested Dakota had started dating again, indicating she is moving on. Tucker, meanwhile, ended his three-year relationship with influencer Emma Chamberlain in 2023. That breakup reportedly influenced his album Kansas Anymore.

Dakota has been keeping busy with her career. In 2025, she appeared in the films Materialists and Splitsville and is preparing for the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel Verity, where she stars alongside Josh Hartnett and Anne Hathaway. Despite the dating rumors, Dakota continues to focus on her professional projects.
