Madonna, 67, Turns Up the Heat as She Fronts Dolce & Gabbana’s ‘The One’
Madonna is stepping back into the spotlight as the new face of Dolce&Gabbana Beauty’s famous fragrance, The One.
The brand revealed the news as part of a fresh global campaign celebrating the scent’s 20th anniversary. The One first launched two decades ago and helped shape the era of celebrity perfumes as we know them today.
The new campaign includes bold photos and a short film. Madonna stars alongside actor Alberto Guerra, and the visuals lean heavily into heat and desire. The scenes are dramatic and intimate, designed to match the fragrance’s mix of amber, jasmine, and vanilla. Dolce&Gabbana makes it clear this is not a subtle campaign, and the tone is openly sensual.
This moment also brings Madonna back to a brand she has worked with for many years. Her history with Dolce&Gabbana goes back to the label’s early days and includes runway appearances and a well-known campaign shot by Steven Klein in 2010. According to the brand, the connection made her an easy choice.
In an interview with WWD, Dolce&Gabbana Beauty CEO Gianluca Toniolo explained why Madonna was chosen again. “We picked a celebrity that has always been very close to Dolce&Gabbana and its history; she’s been part of this brand’s legacy,” he said. He added that Madonna has embodied the idea of being “The One” for decades, making her a natural fit for the campaign.
Along with the visuals, Dolce&Gabbana Beauty is also expanding the fragrance line. The brand is releasing The One Eau de Parfum Intense, The One for Men Parfum, and a refreshed version of The One for Men Eau de Parfum. Each new scent keeps the warm feel of the original but adds deeper notes and longer wear.
