Viral Video Shows J. Lo Being “Rude to Cameraman” at Golden Globes
Jennifer Lopez is getting attention online after a video from the Golden Globes showed her appearing “rude” to a cameraman. The clip, shared by Cole Walliser, shows J.Lo at the event’s high-speed Glambot, a camera that captures slow-motion glamorous shots.
In the video, Walliser greets J.Lo, saying, “Hi, my dear.” She looks up briefly, muttering “Hi” before looking down again. When he tells her, “Lovely to see you again, you look amazing,” she quietly responds, “Nice to see you,” still avoiding eye contact. Walliser then asks if she has a pose in mind, and J.Lo turns and demonstrates it without saying a word. After the shot, he compliments her, saying, “Slayed it as usual. Thank you so much!” J.Lo quickly waves to other photographers and walks away.
@colewalliser The Queen JLO!! She walked the carpet so close to it closing (it might have technically been closed at that point), so I was happy she was able to quickly stop. No messing around — just wham, bam, thank you, GLAM! #jenniferlopez #colewalliser #glambotbts #LiveFromE #goldenglobes @E! News @E! Entertainment ♬ original sound – Cole Walliser
Walliser explained the quick pace of the moment on social media, writing, “The Queen JLO!! She walked the carpet so close to it closing (it might have technically been closed at that point), so I was happy she was able to quickly stop. No messing around — just wham, bam, thank you, GLAM!”
Despite the photographer’s explanation, fans criticized her behavior. One comment said, “my favorite part was when she didn’t look at, speak to, or smile at you.” Another read, “Jesus Cole, did Jlo even speak a word to you?” Others noted that it didn’t help her reputation, saying things like, “This doesn’t help her reputation of being rude lol,” and “I know it’s part of being human, but a greeting with kind intentions doesn’t hurt anyone. Awful.”
J.Lo later interacted with Walliser’s post, leaving three red heart emojis in the comments.
While J.Lo’s quick movements on the red carpet might seem dismissive to some, it’s clear she was working under tight timing and focused on the Glambot shot. Still, fans clearly wanted a warmer interaction. Do you think J.Lo was rude, or was it just a busy moment? Share your thoughts in the comments.
